This was an absolutely wonderful book about the Baxter family, who finally learned about Dayne.

Ashley pressured her father to inform the others and establish contact with the son. None of them had the slightest idea that there was another Baxter sibling, and boy, were they shocked when it turned out to be Dayne Matthews, America's hottest actor.

Dayne was growing increasingly fed up with Hollywood and finally decided that his life was in Bloomington with Katy. He made trips to be with her once a month during filming. One day, after having breakfast with a costar, he headed to a private plane to meet Katy in Bloomington. However, he never made it there.

There was a horrible accident that left him in a coma for one month. When he woke up, he realized he might not be able to make it for Thanksgiving in Bloomington with the entire Baxter family.

Luke was having a terrible time accepting the existence of a new brother and made a poor decision by yelling at the cameras and telling the world that just because Dayne was blood-related did not make him a Baxter. Dayne had a hard time when he found out about this and didn't want to go or move to Bloomington.

Despite all this, the whole town came together to pitch in and get Dayne and Katy's house ready for them. Additionally, I love the 10 secrets of a good marriage. I even wrote them down as they are so true and relevant for any relationship.

I absolutely adored this book!! It was truly a remarkable piece of literature that had me completely engrossed from start to finish.

Not only did I love this particular book, but I have an unwavering love for the whole series!! Each installment has been a thrilling adventure, filled with captivating characters and a richly detailed world.

And let's not forget about the author!! This talented individual has a way with words that is simply magical. Their writing style is engaging, descriptive, and full of heart.

I cannot recommend this book, the series, and the author enough. If you're looking for a great read that will transport you to another world and leave you longing for more, then look no further. You won't be disappointed!!

This review might seem a bit unrelated at first, but here's the interesting part. The book I just read ended on Thanksgiving, and by some strange coincidence, I also finished reading it on Thanksgiving. It was such a cute and heartwarming experience. As I turned the last page, I couldn't help but smile. The story had taken me on a journey, and to have it conclude on this special day made it even more memorable. It felt like the author had planned it that way, although I know it was probably just a happy accident. Nonetheless, it added an extra layer of charm to the whole reading experience. I would definitely recommend this book to others, especially those who are looking for a light and enjoyable read that might just bring a little bit of warmth and cuteness to their lives.

A truly fabulous finish to a heartwarming series. Just like in all of Kingsbury's books, some tears were shed. However, this always makes me an even bigger fan. The way she weaves the story and creates such emotional depth is truly remarkable. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the entire book, eagerly anticipating how the story would end. And when it did, it was both satisfying and bittersweet. I'm already looking forward to getting started on the next addition of the Baxter collection. I can't wait to see what new adventures and emotions the Baxter family will bring. Kingsbury has a way of making me feel like I'm a part of the family, and I can't get enough of it.

The main characters are Dayne Baxter and Katie Hart. A serious paparazzi-caused accident occurs, which results in Dayne being in a 3-month coma with both body and brain damage. Katie is a staunch supporter and bedside companion throughout the coma and rehab process.

The rest of the family also plays an important role. They overcome crying kids and petty jealousies and unite with friends, neighbors, and the town. Together, they complete the repairs and renovation of the lake house to welcome Dayne and Katie home for Thanksgiving.

Overall, this is a short, simplistic, yet satisfying novella with a predictable outcome. It shows the power of love, faith, and community in the face of adversity. God is truly good.

I'm so curious about how things will progress further. However, for now, reading five books from the same series in just one week and a couple of days is sufficient. I need a break :)). But it's not a break from reading; rather, it's a break like reading something different.

Just as Karen mentioned in the last few pages, this book was about forgiveness through love and forgiveness through serving. And I truly needed this message. It really stirred something within me and made me question certain things and make some promises to myself.

Yes, this series is extremely worth reading. I'm so happy and thankful that I had the opportunity to read it. I seriously recommend it to anyone out there who is looking for a good Christian book from which one can learn something. It has been a truly enriching experience.

Forever is the final book in the Firstborn series.

I must admit that this is my least favorite among the books in this series. However, I still gave it a 4.5-star rating.

This book didn't necessarily have to be written, but it did offer me another opportunity to be with the Baxter family one more time.

The book focuses on the theme of redemption and is written quite well. The author does a great job of exploring the characters' emotions and their journey towards forgiveness and growth.

I'm really looking forward to more stories about the Baxters. Their lives are so interesting and full of drama.

If you're hesitant about whether to enter this world of the Baxters, I would highly recommend that you do. It's truly worth the read. You'll become invested in the characters and their relationships, and you'll be on the edge of your seat throughout the entire story.
