This is the third book from the Firstborn series, which is a subset of the Baxter Family series.

For the first two-thirds of the book, it felt a bit dragging. However, the ending was truly touching and gave a distinct meaning to the title - Found. Most significantly, Dayne was found by God when he dedicated his life to Christ. This was the most crucial event in the book. Dayne had a seemingly perfect life from the outside. He was a famous movie star, wealthy, associated with celebrities, and often seen with different beautiful women. But deep down, he had a void in his heart. He knew something was missing, and that void couldn't be filled by Katy Hart or the Baxter family. Only God could fill it. God used Katy and his childhood friend Bob to lead Dayne to Him. The fact that Dayne heard Bob's testimony in English when he was actually speaking Spanish was a miracle that God performed. I had heard of such things happening before.

The second "Found" was when Dayne and John Baxter found each other. Dayne was given up for adoption before John and Elizabeth got married. Dayne's adoptive missionary parents died in a plane crash when he was young. There were numerous obstacles that hindered John and Dayne from meeting, but God worked another miracle by overcoming these obstacles and bringing them together.

I am eagerly anticipating the rest of the Baxter family meeting Dayne in the upcoming books. It will be interesting to see how their relationships develop and how God continues to work in their lives.

Finally!!!!!!

I skipped a few parts as there was a significant amount of reviewing of past characters. However, I know authors frequently do this. Once again, another book titled More Tears LOL. I am truly unable to put the books down because I am extremely eager to see what occurs and I am so deeply invested in the characters.

The way she demonstrates how God functions through all situations is truly remarkable and endearing. It adds an extra layer of depth and meaning to the story, making it not just a simple narrative but a profound exploration of faith and life.

Each character seems to come alive on the pages, with their own unique personalities and struggles. I find myself empathizing with them and rooting for their success.

The author's writing style is engaging and captivating, keeping me hooked from the very beginning. I can't wait to see what other adventures and challenges the characters will face in the remaining pages of the book.

Boy, this book was truly super intense and super exciting. It had just everything that anybody could ever desire in a book.

After finishing the book, I was extremely happy with all the progress that many of the characters had made in it. For instance, Dayne's adventure to Mexico was really thrilling. John Baxter finding his firstborn and actually talking to him was just amazing (eek!!). Ashley's baby boy being born was a beautiful moment. And the relationship between Dayne and Katy was also very interesting.

Although I do wish that the Dayty (yes, I just made that up) relationship would progress faster because it's obvious to everyone that they are going to end up with each other and they clearly love each other too. Anyway, I'm glad that Kelly Parker is done (hopefully) with Dayne. But overall, this is a fantastic book and a definite must-read! It definitely deserves 5 stars! ⭐️

And just like that, in the blink of an eye, I completed another book in this remarkable series within a single day. Oops! It seems I can't get enough of these stories. I might very well pick up book four tomorrow or perhaps the day after.

This author has an outstanding way of breathing life into the story, making it impossible to put the book down once you start. So far, it is an excellent series.

Dayne and Katy's romance pulls them together, yet they lead such different lives. Will they be able to become one? I found myself rooting for them. Then, Dayne gets the devastating news that Kelly is pregnant. After two months of wondering if Kelly will try to make it work with him, she tells him she has had an abortion, which rocks Dayne's world.

The first thing he does is turn to Katy for solace. Katy hurts for Dayne but wants him to find Jesus. She encourages him to go to Mexico City and see a former friend who was in the boarding school with him and is now a missionary. Dayne goes, and his world is forever changed. A miracle occurs when he hears the cry to accept Christ from his friend, even though his friend is speaking in Spanish and Dayne hears it all in English. He can't wait to come home and tell Katy.

On the other side of the story, the Baxter's are getting together for a family reunion. John has promised Ashley he will tell the other kids about their older brother who was put up for adoption. John makes several attempts to contact Dayne, but his dishonest agent tells him Dayne has no interest in getting to know his adoptive family and never passes on the message that John has called three times.

John doesn't give up. He makes a photo album and mails it and a letter to Dayne through his movie director. The package doesn't reach Dayne in time for him to respond before the family reunion. However, the reunion takes an interesting turn. Ashley goes into labor during a tornado watch and is rushed to the hospital for a c-section to deliver the baby. The tornado scene keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering if everyone will survive.

With the arrival of Landon and Ashley's new baby Devin, all is forgotten about the older brother. On the flip side, Dayne finally receives his package from John and learns that they do want a relationship with him. Dayne fires his agent and leaves John a message to meet him in the park in Bloomington the day John takes the family back to the airport from the reunion. It's a tenderhearted reunion. Dayne explains his wish to stay anonymous to avoid being followed by paparazzi.

Will Dayne find the family he's been searching for, or will his life in the spotlight deny him that privilege? Will Katy and Dayne ever be able to be together? I can't wait to read the next book in the series and follow the story. It's a great Christian book about finding God and surrendering your life to him. Many prayers are offered throughout, and peace comes to those who pray. They feel the presence of peace from Christ when facing difficult situations or when the outcome looks bleak. It's truly inspiring.

The Baxter family is truly one of a kind.

There is something so special and endearing about them that makes it impossible to resist their charm.

They are like a warm and cozy blanket on a cold winter's night, always there to provide comfort and love.

I simply can't wait to read more about their family adventures and see how their story unfolds.

Every time I think about the Baxter family, my heart fills with joy and anticipation.

They are the kind of family that you wish you could be a part of, and I'm sure that their story will continue to touch the hearts of many.

So, bring on the next installment of the Baxter family saga, because I'm ready to be swept away once again! ❤❤❤

What a truly touching and deeply inspirational story it is! It was an absolute tear-jerker for me. The profound sadness of the multiple "separations" between Dayne and Katy, with no glimmer of hope for a long-term reunion, is heart-wrenching. The grief that Dayne endures when . But Kelly realizes that Dayne never truly loved her or wanted to marry her, so in her attempt to be free once more, she acts behind his back and has an abortion, cruelly depriving Dayne of the chance to even hold his baby.

Dayne has spent most of his life resisting God. However, through the influence of Katy, his childhood friend Bob, and the working of God in Dayne's heart, he appears to be gradually softening towards God. And John Baxter has been praying for Dayne, even before knowing his name, hoping that they would be able to meet, and, more significantly, that Dayne would encounter Jesus. As the title "Found" implies... .

I am eagerly looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

A wonderful story of redemption and forgiveness awaits within the pages of this remarkable book. Karen Kingsbury's words, "Prayer is a very important ministry. Remember it was prayer that turned things around for Dwayne. Your prayers could be crucial in the lives of someone else, someone God is calling you to lift to him in prayer," hold such significance for me during this trying time of the 2020 pandemic.

It is as if God has divinely intervened and sent this book of prayer to me precisely when I needed it the most. In the midst of the chaos and uncertainty, prayer has become my anchor, my source of strength and hope. I have come to realize the power of prayer and how it can truly make a difference in the lives of others.

This book serves as a reminder that we are all called to be intercessors, to lift up those in need to God in prayer. It is through our prayers that we can bring about transformation and healing in the lives of those around us. I am grateful for this timely message and the opportunity it has given me to deepen my relationship with God and make a positive impact on the world.

This was an intense book.

Normally, I can read throughout the day while my family is watching TV. However, this time, I had to focus intently to truly understand all that was happening.

Dayne is finally coming to terms with his past and uncovering the path to fill the void in his life. He has achieved success in the entertainment business, yet he has never truly felt happy.

Ever since he met Katy Hart, he has been yearning for a simpler, more normal life. He has been constantly thinking about the Baxter family and speculating on what his life would have been like if he had grown up in that family.

He travels to Mexico City to visit his missionary friend from boarding school. There, he gets saved, and now all he can think about is abandoning acting and relocating to Indiana.

John and the Baxter family are still in the process of healing from Elizabeth's death. Ashley discovers a letter addressed to the firstborn and later learns her parents' dark secret.

John is dating again but has not yet informed the kids. So much is happening within the Baxter family, and it is truly exciting to read.

It wouldn’t be a Baxter story without a tragedy, and this book is no exception.

This time, it is a cluster of tornados that wreaks havoc in Bloomington during a Baxter family reunion. The situation becomes even more tense as Ashley goes into labor right in the midst of the storm.

John Baxter discovers the identity of the son he gave up for adoption and makes an attempt to establish contact. Fortunately, this particular storyline has a sweet and heartwarming ending within this book.

The Katy and Dayne romance continues to be a stop-start affair, going in circles. This time, Dayne’s past unexpectedly throws a wrench into the relationship, adding more drama and complexity.

And lastly, Dayne bravely faces his faith journey head-on, which is an important aspect of his character development.

I’m not a big fan of this Firstborn series. I have little to no interest in the Hollywood or theater storylines that are often intertwined. I find the constant talk of paparazzi to be rather tedious and tiresome. Moreover, as the romance inches forward at a snail’s pace, I’m finding it increasingly boring. However, I do still like almost all of the characters. They are well-developed and have their own unique personalities. I also feel a certain level of investment in this family’s story, which keeps me reading despite my reservations.

This was an incredibly wonderful story.

It was so captivating that I simply couldn't put it down. In fact, I could have finished it much sooner if it weren't for all the tears that I shed while reading.

Karen Kingsbury is a truly uniquely Christian writer. She has this amazing ability to bring out all the emotions in her stories in the most beautiful and touching way.

I just absolutely love the Baxter family. Their love for each other is so palpable and heartwarming. It makes me feel all kinds of emotions.

I eagerly look forward to each and every sequel of this series. I can't wait to see what new adventures and challenges the Baxter family will face and how their relationships will continue to grow and evolve.

Overall, this was an outstanding read that I would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good, emotional story with a strong Christian message.

One review for the series:

When I pick up a Christian fiction novel, my intention is to unwind a bit and not overly analyze the media I'm indulging in. Nevertheless, this doesn't hold true when the entire "faith-based" aspect inaccurately portrays the Christian faith. I found myself skimming and skipping every prayer or moment of reflection, as they were all extremely uncomfortable. It's essential to stop taking verses out of context. We should also refrain from stating that God audibly answers prayers in every instance. Additionally, the claim that God desires His people to have flawless lives is not in line with the true essence of the faith. And please, let's stop pretending that everyone in Bloomington is a believer.

We need to be more careful and accurate when presenting religious themes in fiction. It's crucial to respect the beliefs and understandings of the Christian faith and not distort them for the sake of a story. This way, readers can have a more genuine and meaningful experience while engaging with Christian fiction.
