A famous pirate operating in the early 18th-century Caribbean during the "Golden Age of Piracy".

She was born Anne Cormac in Cork, Ireland, the illegitimate daughter of a lawyer and his servant. When she was a young girl, her parents moved with her to the Carolinas to escape scandal. She married a small-time pirate named James Bonny, but later left him for John "Calico Jack" Rackham.
