Afq recently published a new work titled "Towards the Sea" which is translated by Bita Ebrahimian.

At first, I immersed myself in its fantasy world with a certain amount of excitement, but it was not easy for me to progress.

However, in the end, the way it was organized and how all the elements were connected in a very meaningful way, especially when it was about life and death, it really surprised me and I liked it a lot.

This work seems to have a unique charm that can attract readers and make them think deeply about life and death.

It is worth mentioning that the translation by Bita Ebrahimian also plays an important role in presenting the original work to the readers.

Overall, "Towards the Sea" is a work that is worth reading and savoring.

Rewritten and expanded:

Once again, Cooper is at her absolute best with this remarkable book. When considered as a whole, it serves as a powerful metaphor. However, when broken down, it reveals a captivating love story that has the ability to make you feel as if you're not entirely in your own world. There's this intangible something that seems to be veiling you, just out of your reach. What makes this book even more enchanting is the seamless way Celtic mythology is woven into it. It's more subtly incorporated than in "Dark is Rising," yet still palpable enough to give you a distinct sense of the fantastical elements overlaying the realistic setting. The combination of the love story and the Celtic mythology creates a truly immersive reading experience that will leave you spellbound and eager to explore more of Cooper's work.

Not as engrossing as her Dark Is Rising Sequence, this work still has some nice moments. It manages to capture the reader's attention in certain parts, although it does seem to drag a little in the final third. The pacing slows down, and it can make the reading experience feel a bit sluggish. However, despite this minor drawback, I really liked the ending. It brought a sense of closure and tied up the loose ends in a satisfying way. The conclusion left me with a feeling of fulfillment and made me appreciate the overall story more. Overall, while it may not reach the same heights as her other well-known sequence, it still has its own charm and is worth reading for those who enjoy her writing style.

You never know what's truly happening in this book until you reach the very end.

Sometimes, this kind of uncertainty can be a deterrent, but Susan Cooper's writing has a captivating charm that hooks you and persuades you to persevere for the ultimate pay-off.

When you really think about it, the entire story is essentially a profound rumination on the concept of life and death. The two lead characters, almost unknowingly, find themselves entering a dimension where life and death are personified.

It's a story that elicits a wide range of emotions. For example, I found myself bawling over Peth.

Peth's character and the events surrounding him touched me deeply, making me feel a connection to the story on a very personal level.

The way Cooper weaves together the themes of life and death, along with the engaging characters, makes this book a truly unforgettable read.

It forces you to think about the meaning of life and the inevitability of death in a whole new light.

Overall, it's a book that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a thought-provoking and emotionally engaging read.
