A fine successor to the first two books in this series (Children of Night, Summer of Night), though it is almost completely different. The only similarity lies in one secondary character from Summer of Night who makes a surprise appearance here. Regardless of these differences, I truly liked this book. It transported me to a new and exotic place, namely Hawaii. It also taught me a great deal of new things, specifically the rich and fascinating myths of Hawaii. The plot was excellent, carrying me along with its engaging storylines and twists. The inclusion of Mark Twain in the plot was a clever touch, although perhaps not entirely necessary. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I truly relished this one. It was an absolute delight and filled with an abundance of fun. From the very beginning, it had my complete attention and kept me engaged throughout. The experience was like a thrilling adventure that took me on a journey of excitement and enjoyment. Every moment was precious and memorable. I couldn't help but smile and laugh as I immersed myself in it. It was a wonderful escape from the ordinary and a chance to let loose and have a great time. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a source of entertainment and amusement. It's definitely something that will bring a smile to your face and make your day a whole lot brighter.
