It is truly very interesting. At present, the idea is to put into practice what it states and observe what occurs. However, this will only take place after Christmas. LOL. This anticipation adds an element of excitement and mystery. It makes one wonder what exactly will unfold once the implementation begins. Will it bring the expected results or will there be some surprises along the way? The waiting period until after Christmas gives one time to prepare and plan for the actual execution. It also allows for a build-up of excitement as the days pass by. LOL.

In 2023, it has been nearly 30 years since this book was published.

Don't you think that if there were even a shred of evidence to support its advice, it would have become common, if not mainstream by now?

Just imagine people's physicians advising them - for type O - to eat meat and exercise vigorously. Or for type A - to avoid meat and do calming exercise, such as Tai Chi. Come on.

For advice this specific and detailed, there had better be a mountain of evidence. Yet as I write this (nearly 30 years after this book was published), still we have no more evidence than we had in 1996 supporting the idea that your blood type should dictate not only what you should eat but also which types of exercise you should do and which you should avoid.

If you have a copy of this book, I encourage you to look at the "sources" section in the back. It is truly insulting.

It seems rather absurd that such specific dietary and exercise recommendations based on blood type lack substantial evidence after all these years. One would expect that by now, there would be conclusive research to back up these claims. But alas, that is not the case. It makes one wonder about the credibility of the entire concept.

Perhaps it's time to take a closer look at this so-called advice and question its validity. After all, our health is too important to be based on unfounded theories.

It’s the second time I’m reading through this book.

This time, at least four years into my health and wellness journey, and it’s making a lot more sense in conjunction with a few of the other fundamentals.

Once again, this is one of the books that I continue to go back to throughout the year as I gain more health perspective and can integrate more behaviours into my lifestyle.

The knowledge and insights it offers are truly valuable. It has become a reliable companion on my path to better health.

I specifically appreciated the vaccine advice. In today's world, where vaccines play a crucial role in public health, this advice is not only timely but also extremely relevant.

It helps me make more informed decisions about my own health and the health of those around me.

I suggest this book to so many of my friends and family. I believe that everyone can benefit from the wisdom and practical tips it contains.

Whether you're just starting your health and wellness journey or you're a seasoned pro, this book has something for everyone.

It's a must-read for anyone who wants to take control of their health and live a happier, healthier life.

A friend highly recommended this one to me. She actually tried out the advice given in it and managed to lose 5 pounds within just a week! I, on the other hand, have my own set of health issues and I'm always eager to explore different perspectives. Dr. D'Adamo indeed presents a very strong argument. He claims that our blood types can reveal how each of us has evolved over time. And this evolution, in turn, dictates the kind of nutrition that we need. According to him, if we consume foods that are not suitable for our blood type, it can lead to inflammation and various other issues. It all seems quite simple really.

In the book, Dr. D'Adamo devotes a few chapters to sharing his research findings and then delves into great detail about each blood type. After that, he elaborates on how individuals of each blood type should modify their diet. I found this idea quite fascinating and thought it was definitely worth giving a try. Although I don't have a huge success story to share like my friend, as other factors have also contributed to my having lost 40 pounds in the last six months, this book was still very interesting and definitely worth a look. If you're currently struggling with weight problems or other health issues, I would highly recommend that you check out this book. It might just offer you some valuable insights and solutions.

Very intriguing thoughts on how certain foods affect the different blood types and how it aides in immune and physical health. The concept of a blood type diet is truly fascinating. It suggests that our blood type can play a significant role in determining the foods that are most beneficial for our bodies. For example, those with blood type A may thrive on a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, while those with blood type O may do better with a diet that includes more lean meats and fish. This theory not only provides a unique perspective on nutrition but also offers practical advice on how to optimize our health. By understanding the relationship between our blood type and the foods we eat, we can make more informed choices and take proactive steps to support our immune system and overall physical well-being.

I know some people who hold the view that this book is truly remarkable. However, in my perspective, it is nothing but hooey quackery. There are numerous contradictions within its pages, filled with "maybes", "possiblies", and "not everyones".

Apparently, according to this book, I am supposed to consume tofu and soy cheese (which I firmly believe is not real food). Additionally, I should engage in walking and yoga. If this were to be my daily existence, I might as well just keel over and die. In fact, I'd probably dig the hole first, but alas, I'm not supposed to undertake any strenuous activities.

Thankfully, I am allowed to eat peanut butter and pineapple. YUM!!!!

I must be one of those "exceptions to the rule" that the author frequently mentions in the book. This particular diet plan is simply not working for me, and it will be promptly returned to the library!!!!

When it comes to diet plans, for the most part, the ones presented are reasonable and sensible. So, that aspect I can comprehend. But the whole concept of the blood type thing, dictating what one should eat and what must be avoided, is not something I can fully embrace.

In my opinion, the best diet out there is to eat real food, mostly plants, and not consume too much. It's as simple as that!

Some helpful information is provided, but it is actually very similar to a horoscope - being general enough to apply to nearly anyone.

I was truly excited about the book and its premise. However, after conducting some research, I discovered that Dr. D'Adamo is presenting information as truth when it is actually scientifically incorrect.

It's not just minor details in his work; there is a significant amount, including his historical information regarding blood types and how nutrients are absorbed into the body from our food.

Finding this out really disheartened me. I had high hopes for the book and its claims, but the scientific inaccuracies have made me question its validity.

It's important to be critical of the information we consume, especially when it comes to health and well-being. While the idea of personalized nutrition based on blood type may seem appealing, it's crucial to ensure that the underlying science is sound.

In the future, I will be more cautious when evaluating such claims and will always look for scientific evidence to support them.

It is extremely interesting.

It was precisely on the mark for my blood type.

This discovery truly amazed me.

I have always been curious about the relationship between various traits and blood types.

And this particular finding seems to fit perfectly.

It makes me wonder if there are other aspects of my personality or characteristics that are also related to my blood type.

Perhaps further research in this area could揭示更多有趣的关联.

For now, I am simply intrigued by this accurate match and look forward to learning more in the future.

This is an extremely interesting and highly informative book that delves into the fascinating topics of blood types, bodies, and the optimal nutrition and health choices that are based on one's blood type.

I listened to it on Audible. Every single time.

I have actually started this book on several occasions but unfortunately never managed to finish it. However, yesterday I restarted it and today I completed it from beginning to end.

This just goes to show how quickly it can be read and why one has the flexibility to jump around the book and obtain whatever information they require for their own specific blood type and to achieve better health.

I'm not entirely certain about the authenticity of all the facts that she presents. But I do know for a fact that whenever I have modified my diet in accordance with her suggestions, I have felt significantly better. So, I take what she says with a bit of caution, and as for "eating chocolate as a seasoning." Haha! Right.

Interesting concept, but am I ever going to give up wheat or avocados? Not a chance.

Wheat is such a staple in my diet. I love the taste of bread, pasta, and cereals made from wheat. It provides me with the necessary energy to get through the day. Giving it up would mean sacrificing so many of my favorite foods.

As for avocados, they are not only delicious but also extremely nutritious. I enjoy adding them to my salads, sandwiches, and smoothies. They are a great source of healthy fats, fiber, and various vitamins and minerals.

I understand the idea behind certain dietary restrictions, but for me, wheat and avocados are just too important to let go. I believe in maintaining a balanced diet that includes a variety of foods, and these two happen to be among my favorites.

So, while the concept may be interesting, I will continue to enjoy my wheat and avocados without any hesitation.

This is my personal experience, not a suggestion. Before starting your diet you should consult with your physician.

Since childhood, I have been facing heartburn and hyperacidity problems. Due to this, I lost the enamel of my teeth. In 2016, I began to read health-related books. I got some answers, but a few questions remained. After researching, I found a topic on diet according to blood type. I ordered this book online. I shelved it, and after 2 years, I finally had the time to read it.

About the Author: Dr. Peter D'Adamo is an internationally-acclaimed naturopathic physician, researcher, and lecturer. He is also the author of the New York Times best-selling Eat Right 4 Your Type book series. His extensive research and clinical testing of the connections between blood type, health, and disease have garnered worldwide recognition and led to groundbreaking work on many illnesses. The world-famous immunologist, Dr. Gerhard Uhlenbruck of the University of Cologne, Germany, has called Dr. D’Adamo “one of the most creative scientists in the Western world.

My Case: Type O. According to his research, blood type O is the oldest blood group on earth. O means Old. The Hunters and Gatherers. Their diet was high in animal protein and high fat. Their bodies produce more acid than other blood types to digest meat. They survive only on meat and fat.

Whenever I ate carbohydrates like potatoes or wheat, I faced heartburn because my system produces acid for meat. My body expected meat but was receiving carbs. After reading this, now I am only eating a high-fat and meat diet. You know what? I lost 5 kgs in 15 days. From 92 kgs to 87 kgs without any exercise.

Breakfast: 2 Eggs with 1 Slice of Cheese.

Lunch: Skip.

Dinner: 4 kababs or meat.

Avoiding: Wheat, Bakery Items, Juices.

Neutral: Fruits.

Feeling: Now I feel more energetic without Paratha. When I was eating wheat, I felt sleepy all the time. Now after breakfast, I feel active and can do more work with high energy.

Again, this is not a suggestion. This is my experience. You can read more about your blood group in this book. A research-based book with around 400 pages. Recommended.

A huge issue with this diet theory is Dr. D'Adamo's underlying anthropology for it, which is firmly rooted in an evolutionary worldview. He boldly asserts that each blood type is intricately connected to a specific period of history and the subsequent changes in dietary patterns as mankind evolved. For example, he claims that Type O is that of the hunter-gatherer, thriving on meat and having no consumption of grains, while Type A is associated with the agrarian era as mankind began to migrate and adapt to new lands. This entire premise is the foundation of his entire book, which I have to firmly reject based on historical grounds. Although he may present some valid scientific points regarding agglutination and metabolism, it becomes extremely difficult to accept his overall arguments when I cannot even accept his initial premise.

We know from the historical account of Genesis in the Bible that mankind actually began in an agrarian state. For instance, Cain offered to the Lord the produce from the field - the food that he had grown. Additionally, Joseph counseled Egypt to store grain for an upcoming famine. Mankind was also consuming meat and cultivating livestock, thus having a balanced diet of meat, produce, and grains right from the very beginning of time. Dr. D'Adamo, however, asserts that mankind experienced a radical shift from a hunter-gatherer society to one that cultivated grains and livestock, which allegedly caused our digestive tracts and immune systems to "mutate" and "better tolerate and absorb cultivated grains and other agricultural products. He claims that Type A was born as a result (p.8).

People with an evolutionary worldview may find his arguments somewhat plausible. However, as a Christian who firmly believes in the historical veracity of the Scriptures, supported by evidence from archeology, science, history, morality, and more, I simply do not find his foundation to be plausible. Perhaps there is some evidence for following a blood type diet, but it should be disconnected from this faulty anthropology.
