Maybe, just maybe 2.5 stars...

So far, I'm really not impressed with Dahl's work. It could be that I'm just too old to fully enjoy it at this stage of my life.

There is simply too much unnecessary silliness and craziness in it. And yes, even plain mocking that doesn't quite suit my taste.

By the end, I almost found myself hating the elderly characters. It's as if the author went too far in creating these extreme and perhaps not-so-likeable characters.

Maybe if I were younger, I might have seen the charm and humor in it more clearly. But as it stands now, it just doesn't seem to click with me.

I'm left with a sense of disappointment, wondering if there's something I'm missing or if this is just not the kind of literature that appeals to me anymore.

I liked this book a great deal more than Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The first half of this remarkable book is set in the vastness of space and delves into the realm of politics. It presents a unique and engaging perspective that keeps the reader hooked from the very beginning.

The second half, on the other hand, explores the profound theme of not growing old too fast or remaining overly young. It makes one reflect on the passage of time and the importance of finding a balance in life.

If you have a penchant for reading Dahl's works and are already familiar with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, then I highly recommend this book to you. It forms a duology with its predecessor, adding another layer of depth and intrigue to the overall narrative.

Give it a try and embark on this captivating literary journey.

Continuación de “Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate”

In this continuation, we embark on another great adventure alongside Willy Wonka. Just like its predecessor, it is filled with magic. Moreover, it is entertaining, creative, and has a great sense of humor.

Simply put, I have really liked it and it has left me longing for more. This is because the character of Willy Wonka has so much potential with his excellent inventions.

His factory is a wonderland of imagination and innovation. From the chocolate river to the everlasting gobstoppers, every creation is a delight. The story takes us on a journey through this magical world, filled with surprises and excitement at every turn.

Charlie, the main character, is a kind and humble boy who deserves his chance to explore the factory. His interactions with Willy Wonka and the other children add to the charm of the story.

Overall, the continuation of “Charlie y la fábrica de chocolate” is a must-read for anyone who loves a good adventure and a touch of magic.

Adam, if he just holds the cup and does nothing, he will never get anywhere.

This statement implies that in order to achieve something, one must take action and not just remain idle.

In my opinion, this story is much weaker than his first book, that is, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The latter is a classic and beloved tale that has captured the hearts of many readers.

It has an engaging plot, interesting characters, and a magical setting.

On the other hand, this story seems to lack the same charm and excitement.

It may be that the author was trying to explore a different theme or style, but it just didn't work as well.

However, it's important to note that everyone has different tastes in literature, and some people may still enjoy this story.

It's all a matter of personal preference.

DNF @25%

DNF, which stands for "Did Not Finish," is a term often used in various contexts, especially in competitions and challenges. When it is stated that DNF is at 25%, it implies that a quarter of the participants or attempts have not been completed successfully. This could be due to a variety of reasons. Maybe some faced unexpected difficulties, such as equipment failure, or they simply lacked the necessary skills or resources to complete the task. It could also indicate that there were external factors beyond their control that prevented them from reaching the finish line. In any case, DNF @25% serves as a reminder that not every endeavor is guaranteed to be successful and that there are always challenges and obstacles that can arise along the way.

Mr. Roll Dahl, I have a great deal of respect for you.

However, if there is something funny, please tell it to mom so that we can laugh.

What was this writing? Oh, you religious man? It was very bland, dull, and chaotic.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like it.

It seems that the text is expressing some opinions and feelings about Mr. Roll Dahl's work. The writer respects him but finds the writing to be lacking in certain aspects such as humor and clarity. The use of phrases like "bland," "dull," and "chaotic" indicates a negative evaluation. Overall, the writer is sharing their honest thoughts and perhaps suggesting that there is room for improvement in Mr. Roll Dahl's work.

This expanded version provides more context and elaboration on the original text, while still maintaining the essence of the message.

This book was not at all within the scope and scale of Charlie and his chocolate factory!

However, the ideas of Roald Dahl were still interesting and likable.

Roald Dahl is a renowned author who has created many captivating stories. His imagination knows no bounds, and this is evident in his works.

Although this particular book may not have reached the same level of popularity as some of his others, it still holds its own charm.

The unique concepts and characters that Dahl introduces make the reading experience enjoyable.

Perhaps it didn't achieve the same success as "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," but it doesn't mean it's not worth exploring.

Each of Dahl's books has its own distinctiveness, and this one is no exception.

It offers a different perspective and a chance to enter into the wonderful world of Roald Dahl's creativity.

So, even though it may not have been a blockbuster, it still has its own merits and can provide entertainment and inspiration.

I have a deep affection for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It is truly a magical and enchanting story that has captured my heart. However, when it comes to Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator, I must admit that it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

The first book was filled with such wonder and imagination, with the chocolate factory being a place of endless surprises and delights. The characters were vivid and engaging, and the story had a wonderful charm to it.

But in the second book, something seemed to be lacking. Maybe it was the pacing, or perhaps the new elements introduced didn't quite gel with me as well as the original concept. Don't get me wrong, there were still some enjoyable moments, but overall, it didn't have the same impact as the first book.

As Mr Wonka said, \\"A little nonsense now and then, is relished by the wisest man.\\" And while I do appreciate a bit of nonsense in my reading, I guess I was just expecting more from Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator.

Having always been a die-hard fan of Wonka, it suddenly dawned on me that I was a truly terrible person for never having read the sequel. This realization hit me like a ton of bricks.

Was I a little bit scared? Perhaps. After all, the original story was already perfect in every way. The ending, with them leaving in that magnificent glass elevator, was just so ideal. It seemed like it couldn't be improved upon.

And when I finally started this book and found that it picked up exactly where the other one left off, I have to admit that I was slightly disappointed at first. The whole science fiction aspect was a bit... well, let's just say it took some getting used to. But fortunately, once the story returned to the factory, it really picked up speed. I ended up enjoying the rest of the book quite a lot. :)

Ah, greed. It's an age-old theme that never really changes. No matter how much we try to deny it, it's always lurking beneath the surface. :)

I was really eager to find a professional audiobook on Scribd, but unfortunately, I couldn't locate one.

So, I ended up listening to a random person's reading of it on a Spotify podcast called "Jack Jack's Assorted Tales". Surprisingly, he did a mostly good job.

His narration was quite engaging and he managed to bring some life to the story. However, I have to admit that I found the story itself a bit too silly for my taste.

It didn't have the same charm and depth as the first book. I was hoping for a more serious and captivating plot, but this one just didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Nonetheless, I still appreciate the effort put into the podcast and it was an interesting listening experience overall.

I didn't have a great liking for this book. In fact, it might very well be one of the least favorite books of Roald Dahl for me. I am currently in the midst of re-reading all of his works, but this particular one was a first encounter for me. Just like everyone else, I adored "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." However, aside from the pleasure of reading about my beloved characters once more, I failed to extract any additional high-quality content from this book.

The story seemed disjointed and episodic, lacking a smooth flow. The jokes felt rather trite and overused. It gave the impression that it was a sequel created merely for the sake of it, rather than a truly well-thought-out and精心 crafted book.

Definitely, I won't be reading this one again.

Roald Dahl's books are always extremely crazy, and anything can happen in them.

However, among those I have read so far, I think this one is the most outrageous, especially the first part
