I remember clearly that years ago, when I was an education student, I had a liking for this series of books. However, now, looking at them again as a parent, I have a completely different perspective. I find that they are so generalized and stereotypical. It is extremely difficult for me to believe that they can be of any real use to anyone in a specific situation. After carefully examining them, I can find absolutely nothing in these books that even remotely describes my child. And even if, by some chance, I could find something that seemed to apply, I don't think I would follow this so-called one-size-fits-all advice. Every child is unique, with their own set of characteristics, talents, and challenges. These books fail to take into account this individuality, and as a result, their advice seems rather simplistic and ineffective.
