Obviously, I loved this book when I first bought it and read it... the spine is well creased, and it was familiar when I picked it up again recently, wondering whether to keep it. Having just finished it (again) I realised I'd completely forgotten the characters, their connections, and their dramas. The only thing I hadn't forgotten was the farmhouse on the edge of the moors - Moorgate, which, along with Maudie's own home and the landscape of Cornwall, is the star of this heartwarming story of love found, lost, and betrayed. But when you read the recommendation "Very much for Rosamunde Pilcher fans" you have an idea what outcome to expect from the different threads woven skillfully throughout the pages of this book. Suffice to say, it does not disappoint.
