WELL that was great! There were some more really sad moments in this volume but I loved it so so much! I love the way the plot is coming together, there's a lot of scheming happening between all the characters which is awesome. I also love that there are new characters who bring something new to the table! It's all super interesting and fun. One of the highlights of this volume was finally seeing Mustang and his crew in action (they are so professional and badass and awesome!)

THE GOOD

Edward and Alphonse: It was a really sad volume for these boys this time around, as they finally learn the fate of their friend Maes Hughes. Oh man, it made me sad just to think about it. Watching Ed struggle with blaming himself has helped him grow as a character.

Maria Ross: I really liked Lt. Ross, it is a shame that they had to kill her off, especially knowing that she is innocent.

Havoc, Falman, and Hawkeye: Some of Mustang's buds that he brought with him to central, these guys have a pretty bad ass fight scene at the ending, and holy crap, I am looking forward to seeing Hawkeye kick Gluttony's ass.

THE BAD

Barry: I still find Barry the Chopper annoying.

Ling's Henchmen: not a fan of these two, but Ling himself is great.

Nunca defrauda, la historia se vuelve más y más interesante.

Enjoyable installment in this manga series. It's not my favorite (I don't like Ling Yao much) but I did enjoy the story and the plot sneakiness. I'm glad I've seen the anime though, or I'd be a little too worried about one of my favorite characters. This one does end on a cliffhanger, but that's not uncommon for serial stories like manga.

The buildup here was wonderfully intense. Lust doing Lust things.

This volume was heart wrenching and filled with actions. I am constantly surprised by this series and I love how much the content made me think. It it has a lot of depth. The characters continue to develop and they are fleshed out even more.

Barry the Chopper. - I like the addition.

I keep wanting to rate these books lower, but then there's one moment that saves it for me. This time was Hawkeye.
It's usually Hawkeye, tbh.
