What a wonderful read! It is an ode to literature and in certain ways to Christmas as well.

Being a former pet rat owner, I found this book to be a wonderful depiction of a rat. It was such a sweetly written book.

This was reasonably charming.

This is SUCH a good book. I'm pretty sure that this is a children's book, but it has a deeper meaning that most children may not understand. This is such a cute story and I DEFINITELY recommend children and adults read it.

A cute litte book about the friendship between a book-loving read and an elderly author. Lots of lovely quotes and references to books and Walter's (the rat) perspective on human nature is quite entertaining. A very relaxing and heart-warming Christmas read.

Dieses Buch ist ein Buchtip für die Weihnachtszeit. Ich habe es gerade beendet und die Geschichte ist so wunderbar wehmütig-süß. Das Bild sagt eigentlich schon sehr viel über das Buch aus. Es gibt nur zwei Akteure - Walter und eine Autorin. Und beide verbindet die Literatur.
