Confessions of a Shopaholic - 4 stars
It was a good read. Becky has a shopping addiction and she is in debt because of that. Becky was annoying but I still enjoyed reading the first book in the series.

Shopaholic takes Manhattan - 2.5 stars
It was a bit slow in comparison to the first book but it was still readable.

Shopaholic Ties the Knot - 3.3 stars
This is where Becky and Luke get married and Becky plans their wedding actually she plans two weddings. It was not a bad read.

I read the first ever confessions of a shoppaholic when a magazine i had a subscription to was giving away a free promotional copy. It looked cute and sounded amazing so i curled up into a ball and began reading. It was fantastic! Luke brandon was mr. Perfect! And im sure those who have read it also fell head over heels for him! The first book is the best overall, the obstacles that becky bloomwood faces and initially how it leads her to meet luke brandon. It was hilarious and laugh out loud funny throughout the book. The other books follow suit from this one and luke and becky get married and move The Discovery that becky has a long lost sisister, gets pregnant and has a beautiful baby. Its wonderful to follow becky on all her crazy, wild, shoppaholic adventures. This is a must read series that i would reccomend to the whole universe! Sophie kinsella writes so beautifully and they are a light hearted read which can bring tears of joy and sorrow, laughter and admiration. If you read these amazing books am sure you will love them! Happy reading. Emma

I know that it sounds like Bridget Jones and its 100% predictable, but it has heart, and a good romance, and a point- as well as every girl who ever justified a pair of shoes can identify with her.

Confessions of a shopaholic is so great! Becky Bloomwood (main character) is just so lovable. She's from England working as a financial journlist, but she has a little problem with spending... the situations that she gets in are so entertaining and unbelievably funny!

Shopaholic takes Manhattan is just as good if not better than Confessions. You have becky who's from England going overseas to NYC, her spending is out of control and her ratonalization for it all makes you just laugh out loud!

Ties the Knot is my Favorite one so far. I LOVE BECKY in this book. I feel like becky starts to realize what adult life is all about. There are things you want and then there are things you need. I think that the 2 weddings being planned in this book really stick to that theme WANTS vs. NEEDS
