Weirded me out a little, but was an excellent quick read ... lol, glad to get it out of my house and back in the library where it belongs ;)

I really dug this book. Recently I read another book on true hauntings (which shall not be named here) that, while intriguing, was very poorly written -- I'm talking bad grammar and sentence structure nearly nonexistant. THIS book, however, was crafted with a wordsmith's grace and written so that I felt like the phantom characters would appear in my room at any second. Wonderful job, Annie. This book comes highly recommended!

This book was pretty good. It took me awhile to get through it because it didn't grab me. I did get some good info from it. Unfortunately, I have never connected to a ghost (I guess I'm too grounded for that) Wish I could meet one at least once.

This was an interesting book about a house filled with spirits of all sorts (none were too scary, however) but it needed some editing. The author has a tendency to skip around all over the place while telling her story which drove me a little nuts after awhile. I prefer things all orderly-like and this was too scattered. Still, I enjoyed the author. She seems like a fun, down-to-earth lady with a very cool home.

Éste no es un libro de sustos, es una casa enorme y llena de secretos, en la que Annie se ha mudado junto con sus hijos y sus gatos. Pronto se manifiestan las diferentes entidades de la casa, desde los que se muestran protectores hasta los que llegan a agitarlo todo. Es un libro en el que se habla de las energías de los fantasmas, los ruidos, las presencias, los golpes. Tesoros enterrados y sótanos tenebrosos en dónde nadie quiere estar.
El libro no es nada aburrido, es una forma diferente en que uno podría manejar la situación de tener una casa invadida por espíritus. Y si, tiene momentos en los que se te pone la piel chinita.

I did enjoy this book! Heard about it on one of my podcasts and the author was on it talking about this book! Its not a scary read but just reading all her experiences, it is definitely interesting! Maybe one day we can visit or see this house and hopefully she writes another book.

Ms. Wilder came across like a person I would love to meet and be friends with and love to spend time in her house. However, I wish she stay more focused on the spirits in her house when telling her story and not all the philosophies she was experimenting with or reading about. Besides that, I truly believe her story and felt sad too about Leon.

Entertaining and creepy, this story was documented on one of those Ghost TV shows. It's a good ghost story.

Annie describes living in a haunted house with her children in funny, down to earth humor.I love how she shares they're experiences and they come to think of the spirits as almost part of the family.I would have to say Leon is my favorite spirit by the way she describes him.

Today is Halloween and I felt I must add a book about ghosts to my list. The author purchased a house somewhere in Minnesota that turned out to be haunted. It is interesting to learn who these ghosts are and why they are there. So much must go on in the spirit world that most of us are not aware of!

I LOVE books like this and love writing them too. This was a great read and it caught my attention as soon as I saw the cover and opened it to page one. If you like scary things that have happened to people like this, then I would read it if I were you. I might not be for everyone but for the paranormal lovers out there, give it a shot.
