Words cannot describe how much I enjoy every bit of this series but wow, this volume is one of my favorites!
I just can't stop fangirling over Roy Mustang's fight with Lust. I remember watching that scene in the anime and being both surprised and impressed by this character. I already loved him even though he was an womanizer and seemed more like a comic relief kind of character at first but he proved to be so much more. I was completely hooked and never recovered ever since.
This fight was his first moment of sheer glory and I'm such a sucker for badass characters. Fortunately for me, there are plenty of badass characters in this series.
Hiromu Arakawa is both a true artist and a great writer. I will always admire her for writing such an amazing story and lovable characters.
I don't often buy books. Usually, I borrow and read them first, then buy the book only if it's re-readable. That's because I don't have enough space to store books and I've been disappointed by so many before that I prefer having a rather smaller collection that truly makes my heart smile wherever I'm looking at it.
I love this series so much that I decided to buy the first volum of Fullmetal edition and start collecting my very first manga. I can't wait for all 18 hardcover volumes to be released and shine on my shelf. This kind of artistry worths it. Respect!
Roy Mustang, the alchemist extraordinaire, is the featured character in this novel. We learn a lot about him and find out even more about his recent actions. I needed that explanation.
I was pleased about the progress made in this novel. After so many plot lines starting, I was glad this volume was more development and forward motion.
