More like 3.5 stars. I liked it--at least enough to persue the series. Review to come.

It is not just trials and trails, it is empathy for the main characters. Darren had almost given his life away for Mr. Cresply, to make him not feel embarrass for his assistant. Darren, the main character did almost everything for his master. The trials are tough but he made most of them.............
I feel really sad for Darren. I felt unfairness.

This book was fairly interesting. It was cool to see all the creative trials Darren had to go through. I like the fact that Darren didn’t magically ace the trials; he’s still young and weak and inexperienced so it wouldn’t have made sense if he passed them all, so the fact that he ended up failing a trial and eloping was relatively realistic.

And, holy shit, I did not see that betrayal from Kurda coming! I think the next book has potential to be more action packed, we’re moving closer and closer to the vampire vs. vampaneze war with every book. I’m also very curious about Harkat and how he’s connected to Darren...

I thought the book Cirque Du freak book 5 the trials of death was a very interesting book because the book is about a boy named Darren Shan who is a Half vampire but he wants to become a full one but to become a full vampire he must take this test that is not on paper it is a physical exam and the best but weird part is that if Darren fails to complete or pass the test he will be sentenced to death.I know what you are thinking about this book right now but it is really a great booknovel to read if you want to be on the edge of your seat one of my favorite part of the book was towards the beginning when Darren and his two friends who are vampire and in the beginning they are like having lunch and they were discussing the trials which was the test Darren needed to take to become a full vampire so anyway they were telling what he has to do in the trials,and they gave this advice which is to not get injured while he is doing the trials.But they said that Darren may not pass it because of his age.This is my favorite part of the story because even though people kept on telling Darren that he was young to become a full vampire,but Darren didn't care he just wanted to go through with the trials.So that is why I thought that the book Cirque Du Freak trials of death was a great book.

this book traumatized me a little

I simply love the series and this book is one of the best ones.

Still enjoying this series. This continues Darren's journey as a half vampire and assistant to the interesting Mr. Crepsley. They trek to Vampire Mountain and encounter some unusual things that I won't spoil for you. It can be dark at times which is not always expected. I like Shan's writing and plan to continue the series.

Me encanta que todos los libros son super cortos y muy,muy rápidos de leer, además de que el ritmo no decae y te hace querer seguir leyendo más y más, y cuando te das cuenta ya terminaste el libro y estás por empezar el siguiente. Mi personaje favortio sin duda sigue siendo mi estimado Sr. Crespley :D

I loved this book. Trials of death! Dun Dun Dun!! It was amazing although I would never ever do it myself. The sign of respect for the vampires in this book really confused me to be honest. I love this series and this book was a great carrying on of the storyline. Amazing!

This was definitely the best book of the series yet! Lots of action and a huge plot twist in the end I'm starting the next one immediately
