Excellent, informative book. Kevin Trudeau is a real life hero. He was not afraid to go against the grain and stand up for what HE, I mean WE believe in:) It took a lot of courage on Kevin's part to write and publish this book, and because he did, I will be forever grateful.

This is a sequel to Kevin Trudeau’s first book on this topic called "Natural Cures 'They' Don’t Want You to Know About," which I finished reading in February 2007. As in the first book Trudeau reiterates that he feels that drugs make people sick, and that the government promotes drugs because it is a profit bearing business. He feels that the government wants to keep people ill so they can continue to make money selling drugs.

A big chuck of the book consists of Trudeau’s rants about the government and how the government has tried to stop him from promoting his information. He rants that the government has accused him giving out bad information because he is not a doctor or physician. However, as the author points out, doctors make mistakes, and sometimes they are influenced on decisions based on products they are pushed to sell, equipment they need to use, and often they change their mind on what is healthy and what is not. Trudeau even has a chapter entitled “Trust Me, I’m Not a Doctor.” He says that doctors often do not know what is wrong with a person. They often do not try to solve the illness, but only try to cure the symptoms.

Trudeau suggests using only organic products and foods if possible, or at least deal with the best option. For instance, Trudeau says he would rather order a tuna sandwich than fast food, if he is out and organic food is not available.

In Trudeau’s first book, he discussed a lot about having a colon cleaning to get toxics out of the body. He says that it is important not to take prescription and non-prescription drugs. He says that sun tan lotions are toxic and suggests not using any of them. He does suggest, however, getting a few hours in the sun each day. He feels that the sun prevents cancer and can even cure cancer.

He agrees with kosher dietary laws of not eating pork products or shellfish. He says that pigs eat everything and anything and are not healthy for us. He says shellfish carries toxics that are bad for individuals. Trudeau writes about non-calorie sweeteners being bad for us as well.

Some of the information in Trudeau’s book reiterates what he discussed in his first book, while some of it is new material. I found this book to be an interesting read with some “food” for thought.

I thought it had some good info and have tried to include some of his advice in my lifestyle. Unfortunately, it is so expensive to try to be healthy and there is little I've been able to do.

This book is a sequel to the author's ground-breaking book "Natural Cures 'They' don't want you to know about".

It reveals Kevin's own previous involvement with what he terms "Big Pharma" and with the food industry and thus how it is he knows what exactly they're up to, i.e. their devious plans to multiply their profits by hooking us on unhealthy food and harmful medicine.

Kevin is a whistle-blower, perhaps THE whistle.blower of the decade and will no doubt go down in history as such.

This is not such an essential, basic or valuable book as the preceding one but still absolutely worth reading.

The book includes a comprehensive list of web site addresses for each of Kevin's recommendations regarding things to do to improve one's health together with valuable ones listed under various health problems.

Like one of the other reviewers of the book on this site, I think that Kevin promised a bit more than he delivered as regards the content of this book. I looked in vain for descriptions of cures for various ailments.

But if you're a Kevin fan, you'll want to read this book too, otherwise perhaps not.

I will read to see if this stuff is really a hoax and I got it for a dollar at the thrift store!

Definitely a lot of "chest thumping" by the author and a lot of repetition but also good information and resources to check out regarding natural treatments and ways to improve health.

Like I said, about his other books. Look him up on Wikipedia or google the article on Salon.com for this guy's shady history. He does a lot of con-artist things.

Possibly some good information here, but retreads a lot from his earlier book and is a lot of filler about his battles with the FDA, a situation which he earned because he got involved in pyramid schemes and sold products in a standard snake-oil saleman type of way.

Try to get this book or his first out of the library and I would be hesitant about joining the website he plugs. He wants to turn you into a subscriber.

(Again, sunlight cures disease? I'm sure a little is good for you - many nutritionists and health practicioners say so - as long as you're careful like the skin doctors suggest. But he makes such broad sweeping statements like this.)

I'd look at stuff by Gary Null (who Trudeau references in his first book and discredits in this one) and Andrew Weil as well.
