You can just read the last chapter... Everything else has nothing to do with anything in this series. I AM NOT ANNOYED

This book was so hard to get through. I thought it was going to be a lot more closely related to the other 3 City of Ember books, but it really isn't. It doesn't even mention anything about the other books until the last chapter. The whole book was so churchy and religion centered. It was just a lot to get through. Everyone was kind of annoying and not really likable. Also the part about the dogs, ugghhhhh. That's all I'll say about that. I was really expecting more from a prequel honestly. Disappointing.
