Oh please don’t say cool. If I ever hear that word again ...

We see a boy in this one and he’s called Jack Robinson. Jack has spots and the illustration of him sitting in bed covering in spots really makes me itchy. Mr Cool took him away to have fun and while he’s having fun, the boy recovered. I don’t understand what’s so fun about this story and how Mr Cool’s role is Si significant to this story. It’s hard to believe the things they did. I guess I just have to accept it. That’s not cool. Not at all.

Mr. Cool shows up and you know cool things are going to happen - that’s why he’s wearing a top hat. Still, Mr cool was pretty cool. A boy is sick in bed with chicken pox and he was in bed and bored. Mr. Cool shows up and snaps his fingers and he is doing all kinds of cool things like flying a jet plane, sledding down Mt. Everest, etc. The child also wakes up and his chicken pox are gone.

Mr. Cool does seem pretty cool.

The nephew did love this one. He hadn’t met Mr. Cool yet, but he gave him a cool 4 stars. He didn’t understand what chicken pox were. Neither child has had the itchy disease. Lucky them, I guess. I still have memories of being six with the pox and itching to death.
