Great storytelling and scene setting. Characters are easy to love or despise. Jacques continues his signature conversations that include food, eating, singing and dancing. Reading stories like this make me really thankful of the world I live in now!!

I was disappointed in the ending of this book. I was hoping that the boy and his dog could have stayed with the girl, instead of having to leave.

A trilogy that I find very interesting. The first and second are better than the third. An adventure of good and evil with a intervention of an angle.

Not quite as strong as the other two, I think, but the only ending I expected even though I wish it were happier. Really glad I finally finished these!

Awesome as always!
This book is one of my absolute favourites! There are so many things that I admire about Brian Jacques.
· He writes in such a way that he keeps you on your toes.
· He creates unique scenarios that I don't commonly think of.
I also like how he forces Ben and Need to work together in order to solve their mission.
Thanks for such a great book Brian Jacques! This is probably the best and most inspiring book that I have ever read!

I really liked this series. It made me laugh and cry, and the characters were wonderfully done. I wish that there were more books in it.

Nice. First two books I read ages ago in printed Russian edition. Now after rereading them in English I finally read the third tome. It would be much better if I didn't knew that they are both to be alive and together 'cause they have to be otherwise actions of the last part of the first book could not happen. But still it was troublesome reading though it was obvious that Denmark and Nebuchadnezzar should win.

This book is the saddest in the series but it still makes you laugh.
Even though I've read it three time I still cry and cry at the end.

Not sure I liked it much, it was very sad and confusing, you realy need to read the first one from the series first.

This book is as amazing as I remember it but there are some things that make me feel a little uncomfortable, which is why I would give the book a 4.5

What a sweet, sad, perfect ending to this trilogy. The humor was well-placed, and even though it was intended for a younger audience I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were times when it got repetitive, but the story itself - the plot, the characters, their relationships - more than made up for it.
