This makes a wonderful gift for new parents, children's birthdays and elementary teachers. The essays preceding the Seuss stories are great. Grown ups and kids will both enjoy this collection.

I had imagined reading this beautifully done coffee table book with one or another of my grandchildren. Instead, I read it alone and mostly out loud. Great memories. Satisfying chuckles. Time, in my opion, well spent...and I'll probably do it again, someday.

I wouldn't classify the 12 Seuss books in this collection as my personal absolute favorite, but the selection is pretty darn close. My children and I also enjoyed the fan mail and historical backdrop shared before each story. Great editing, worthy of Amazon gifting or for your personal shelf.
