A childhood favorite that is still as wondrous to me as an adult. I love reading it to my little son!

https://twogalsandabook.com/ One of our favorite children's book. My grand daughter easily read this alone, and enjoyed it very much.

Stop car, drive car, four star, five star!

Some dank rhymes my son and I enjoy.

The character of Ned is really relatable, I think if I were in the Seuss-iverse I would be Ned.

I like the little passage:
From there to here,
From here to there,
Funny things are everywhere.

A perfect example of why, three decades after his death, Theodor Geisel's writings and artwork continue to enthrall children and their parents to this day.

(Why on earth did I read this? Three words: Annual Reading Goal!)

I read it once
I read it twice
I may have even read it thrice
I like this more than any other
I don't know why
I'll ask my mother

My son did not really get into this book until he was about 13 months old, but now we read it at least twice a day, if not more. It's great because you can open it on any page and start reading there. There is no need to start at the beginning. We're goin to get a new one soon, since the soft pages do not respond well to rough toddler handling. So, "if you like to go Bump! Bump!, get on the hump of the wump of Gump!"(one of our favorites)

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish, Dr. Seuss

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish is a simple rhyming book for beginning readers, with a freewheeling plot about a boy and a girl named Jay and Kay and the many amazing creatures they have for friends and pets.

Interspersed are some surreal and unrelated skits, such as a man named Ned whose feet stick out from his bed, a creature who has a bird in his ear, and one man named Joe who cannot hear the other man's call.

The book was the basis of a theme park attraction located at Universal's Islands of Adventure in the Seuss Landing area of the park, called "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".

n  “Today is gone. Today was fun.
Tomorrow is another one.
Every day,
from here to there,
funny things are everywhere!”
