Thought I'd read this before.

Kara has cut-outs from this book framed and hung on the walls of the girls' room. They enjoyed matching the wall pictures to the book pictures.

Kate read this to Sophie (May 2017), and I helped Kate try to get the rhythm down. That made it difficult, not to mention Dr. Seuss's made-up words. But I think she still enjoyed trying to get the rhythm right. She did it again in June 2017, and the rhythm was better.

Still working on letters with Sophie (Aug. 2018), who turned four in May 2018.

I have to admit I really liked it :)
It's catchy and fun to read and I can't wait to use it when teaching English to kids. I think it will be a huge success as it could probably appeal to all ages, but on different levels :)

I was highly disappointed in this book. Dr. Seuss would be turning angrily in his grave for how they placed this book together. There are a couple of pages that lay out exactly what Dr. Seuss wrote, but then there are other pages that do not even have the right words. It is as though the publishing company rewrote this classic book. There are words that are missing and pages rewrote entirely. I am upset. I understand that it is a short book, but at least keep it Dr. Seuss. I got this book for my two year old son. But I would rather get the actual book with the correct words written by the amazing author. There is no need to rewrite anything. This book was not entertaining. It did not rhyme where pages were rewritten or words were removed. When you get so used to reading it a certain way that makes sense and the kids are entertained and then you go to this, it is maddening.
If I was looking to buy this book, I would buy the true Dr. Seuss version, not this cheap rip off of a failed try to make it work.
