The best one.

I remember seeing the movie when I was very young and when I found I could listen to the book for free as part of Audible Plus I downloaded it. It's a very enjoyable 1960 era novel about the war as a Italian city works to save their wine from the Germans. Some brutality, but not excessive. Recommended.

This is a story about a town in Italy that identifies heavily with wine, the heroic efforts of an entire community to wage their own personal war with the occupying Nazis.

Secret of Santa Vittoria

A really great book. Saw the film years ago, wanted to read the book and was not disappointed. Great story, well written and no punches pulled on the writing.
