Read this is the fifth grade, taught by a teacher who grew up in Tornado Alley. Did it scar me for life? Maybe. At least she didn’t have us watch the movie.

Loved it. It was a fast read, being the original script before it changed for the movie. Seems the best dialog wasn’t even in Crichton’s original script, which is interesting, but the gist of the story remained. Some scenes play out differently, and there are actually more characters in the film, but overall, I really enjoyed this read.

This is my favorite movie of all time, but the script is awful. I'm glad we got some rewrites!

Watched the movie first: the screenplay is similar, but the ending is better in the movie (not usually the case). Did both before we go see the new movie "Twisters".

Twister is one of the best action books I have ever read. It has a lot of things unexpectedly happen through out the story. It is ver easy reading, but such a great book. I recommend this book to anyone who loves the adventure.

One of my favorite natural disaster novels. A great combination of science and romance.

This screenplay offers a great look at Crichton's first cut at the movie script. It's largely the same as the movie but with some interesting differences. We also get to see Crichton's descriptions of action scenes (which I love). He could have easily turned this into a novel but it works so well as a movie.

Der Film ist klasse, das Buch eher nur als 'Begleitung' zu empfehlen, da für mich ein Buch in Drehbuchform nie so gut ist wie ein Roman.

I wish Crichton worked with his wife more often! A screenplay isn't my favorite medium to read but i did enjoy this book anyways. Good mix of science, action and character time

I loved this version of the screen play. It was different from the final movie product but still very enjoyable. For those who like to see how films start out its quite interesting to see what the "final" script looked like before shooting and how much it changed before distribution.

Movie is better.
