There comes a point where one starts questioning one's choice of friends. Sure, they're nice, upstanding, got your back types. Sure, they'd take you in if you needed a place to stay, they listen to you rant about the same old stuff you've ranted about for years, and they themselves are people of manners and decency. But do they have beach houses? More to the point, do they have beach houses they are lending you (gratis, of course)? And no, my sorry lot of friends do not. Mind you, some of them even have the means to have quite the swanky beach house. Just not the vision. Sigh. Well, if I did have "better" friends, this is the book I would bring and leave as a thank-you (or possibly a hint as in cook me these things, please). Be on notice, old friends, it's all about the real estate.
