I read this in a matter of hours! I am huge Sex and the City fan so this book (filled with tons of photos from the show, information about the fashion and places featured on the show, and cast interviews) is perfect.
The crocodile hot pink cover is nice too! It is an odd shape — it’s sort of close to the size of a school yearbook so it will be a bit odd on my shelves, but I’m still glad I own it.
My only real criticism of this book is that it doesn’t cover anything beyond season 4. I wish it would have been written at the end of the series because I would have loved for it to have included information about the final two seasons. That said, it’s a must read for fans of SATC.
** I read Sex and the City and Us (SATCAU) first (even though it was published in 2018 many years after this book was published and that book includes several quotes that were first published in this book.) If you read both, there will be some overlap. However, this book has tons of pictures not included in the SATCAU book. I think it’s worth reading both. **
So much fun! My favorite part are the pictures of the girls' outfits from the show with the names of the designers for each piece. My only complaint: My favorite dress of Carrie's wasn't on there. This book gives a lot of other background information about the making of the show. I'm hooked again!
Cute book with some interesting behind them scenes facts, beautiful photos and such but if you’re going to put a quiz at the end, make sure you’re putting the correct answers AND questions. Example: In season 5, when Carrie goes to SF on her book tour, Mr. Winkle the dog doesn’t open for her, she opens for him. It makes you wonder if the other trivia is true or not, you know?
This is a must-have book for any fan of the show. Loved the pictures, trivia and insider interviews with both cast and crew. It made me fall in love with the show all over again. The downside? Barely any mention about the end of season 6 and Carrie's move to Paris etc.! How did that get missed?
