Now the prequel of the saga. About the legend of hoole. The author give a different approach on how the story is told. This time it was told as if we were reading a journal. However it still has all the best characteristic of the other story.

Great book overall. love hearing about the legends of Ga'Hoole. pretty neat to learn about Grank and all the other characters mention in the legends. would definite recommend this because it tells so much about the legends that are always mentioned.

Again not sure how I feel about this one. This book is a story within a story and it really didn't add much to the og storyline. LOVE the polar bears tho

The first book in the series that did not grab my attention at all. I got about a third of the way through, but I think with how neatly the last book ended, I'm gonna call it quits here.

Even though I was hesitant to start this new arch in the Ga'Hoole series, I absolutely loved the book. The new characters are as likable as the Chaw of Chaws themselves, this is probably my favorite of the series (up to now) The only thing I didn't get is, caution SPOILERS How did Coryn infer Nyra was a hagsfiend? I can't seem to recall this being adressed or referenced in any way.

My son loved these! He read them in about 3rd grade. I didn't share his love, but then I'm an adult and I experienced the story from a totally different point of view (I mean, fighting owls??! It was hard for me to get into.) I was willing to let him read whatever it took to get him to reading fluently and I was just happy to see him immersed in a book.

Utter bullshit..... 2 stars just because I liked Theo and epilogue

this book was a little boring at the start, but once I got to the fourth chapter, I DEVOURED IT!

This is one of my favorite series
