I love the short stories of life that encourage and link us together and closer to God when we take the time to pause and reflect. It was a great read that I read here and there throughout this year. It was like returning to a friend to catch up on life
How o find inspiration in everyday life. I see her examination of simple and complex life occurrences an inspiration to be more reflective and cognizant of my own.
This book was excellent. I used it as a devotional and journaled alot of the inspirational messages. A nice surprise when I found it on the shelves in the library as I was unaware that Sue Monk Kidd had written inspirational books.
This is the best thing I've read/listened to in a while. Kidd has transformed my commute into holy ground with her early writings of everyday spirituality. Citing favored theologians such as Anthony de Mello and Helen Prejean, she weaves her common events into contemplative moments. This book is incredibly relate-able and calls for reflection. Thank you, Sue Monk Kidd for so honestly giving us a window into your young soul! One of my most favorite spiritual works!
My Grandmere gave me this and eventhough it's real cheesy I'm going to read it. Maybe not hte whole thing but at least some. That way when I go home I can tell her I read some.
