Another of the many books written by psychic Sylvia Browne, Past Lives, Future Healing is at least entertaining and certainly thought-provoking. After having read her books on Jesus and the Two Marys as well as a few others I was ready for (curious about) more of her spirit-guided insights about the Other Side. Whether you believe it or not, it does make you think about what lies beyond our current lives. This one is focused, as the title implies, on how our past lives can influence our current life from residual effects of trauma or injury to special abilities that seem to have no explanation. I found it interesting and it does explore a foundational aspect of past lives that includes coming back in another life, but retaining influences, both positive and negative, from your previous life experiences. Whether you read this and other books by this author as a believer or primarily as entertainment and an escape from everything else happening today, you will most likely find it worth your time.

I know there are plenty of people who dislike Sylvia Brown... myself I don't have much of an opinion of her, but I found the book interesting and a good intro to the subject that has led me to want to read more on the subject.

I got this at the library on a whim. I read it in one evening. I don't buy any of it, past lives and reincarnation, white light, all that jazz, but I loved reading about it. And I'm gonna go and get some more at the library this evening!

This book really opened up my eyes to dealing with past trama. It talks about how important it is to leave things in the past(even if it's from two life times ago)and in return you can move forward in this life. It explains cell memory and has several short stories from people who actaully had reading done by Sylvia, focusing on good health and relationships.

The one expert millions of readers have learned to trust, one of the few psychics instantly recognizable to television viewers, Sylvia Browne is back. She has proven herself, in her fifty years of working as a medium, to be the reigning queen of psychic phenomena. Here is an insightful look at how much of one’s present life is informed by one’s past lives, and how many health and relationships problems have their roots in unresolved past lives. From unexpected illnesses to bizarre phobias, from irrational anxieties and fears to the hooch of partners, each can be traced back to past lives. Even birthmarks and reoccurring dreams are signs of issues from past lives. Sylvia helps readers recognize where their deep-rooted problems, fears, and hang-ups all began-and how to ultimately resolve them.

This is perhaps my very favorite book by Sylvia! She explores how pain and baggage from your past lives could be hindering you in this lifetime. She also includes several amazing examples of how she helped many people theoretically prove this idea!

past life regression sounds cool, but sylvia browne's incredibility as a psychic (i.e: amanda berry) makes it difficult to believe

Very informative and educational, and extremely interesting. The only reason I didn't give it four stars was because I found she focused more on the biological cell memory component, whereas I was expecting more of the past lives part. Don't get me wrong, she definitely did include that in her book, but I guess I was just expecting more. Overall an enjoyable read.
