Really insightful opinion. I listened to this via audio book all in one go. Some of it resonated as a fellow medium.

I found this book to be very interesting. It was informative & kept my attention the whole time. I will say that the author's view on what Heaven is like, differs from what I was taught in Sunday School, but then again, my Sunday School teacher wasn't psychic. However, I did find Sylvia's description of Heaven to be fascinating.

I entered spirituality by way of Dr. Michael Newton’s Journey of Souls (followed by Destiny of Souls). That was fortuitous as I, too, am a classically trained scientist coming from an atheist background. So I’m particularly aware of the religious dogma Browne’s perspective is steeped in (angels, physical human beauty, a very tangible afterlife world that’s a purer version of Earth complete with Jesus, to name just a few). And the Heavenly Father making ocassional visits to the heavenly realm on holy occasions, in lieu of Newton’s more nebulous and sexually ambiguous “source” pure energy. Perhaps Newton ruined me for all others. Perhaps I like drawing my own conclusions by being provided details less adorned in dogma. Or perhaps our interpretation of what’s on the other side is reflective of what we find most familiar.

As Sylvia says in the beginning of her books "Take what you want and need from this and leave the rest." It is humble advice, and if you can do as asked this book can become extremely helpful during hard times. It can solidify your beliefs, help shape them if you don't have them, erase your doubts, or answer you're questions. Regardless, if you've lost someone close to you, this book can provide comfort in one way or another.

Interesting, detailed explanation of life after death, reincarnation, mother-God, angel rankings, etc. according to Sylvia Browne. Lots of it is bunk, but it is fascinating.

There's a lot in this book to take in, and as much as I want to have an open mind, either there's too much to believe in it or I'm not ready to understand all of it.
Still, some bits and bobs are interesting.

I loved this book! I’m a spiritual person and I went into this read with an open mind. It made me really think of what speaks to my soul and what might not. Ya never know what the afterlife is really like because we are made to forget while we live on this earth or how else would we make mistakes, learn from them and grow our souls for God if we knew without a doubt that we’d be going back to paradise (heaven) when our time is done on this earth. This has always been an interesting topic for me because I’ve always believed in God, Jesus, the holy spirit, heaven, angels, etc. I very much enjoy Sylvia Brown’s writing and her take on the spirit realm was fascinating to me. You don’t have to believe in everything she says if you choose to. “Just take what you need for your soul and leave out the rest” as she has always said about the religious topics, as long as it speaks to your soul, that’s all that truly matters. I found this book to be a truly comforting read.

This is my 2nd time reading this Book, and I must say that I enjoyed it as much as I did years ago. Whether you're a true believer or not, Sylvia Browne brings you on such a detailed journey of Life on the Other Side that you can picture yourself there. It gives hope where hope may be lost, that when it's our time to go Home, there's much more in-store than we ever imagined. This Book also includes Illustrations at the end depicting what was written. It made me a believer and I think is worth reading.

I do not necessarily agree with the late Sylvia Browne's views, but I found this book to be very well-written and articulate. I believe that Browne was a sincere woman that wanted to help humanity.
