This book brought me comfort when I lost my uncle whom was like a father to me. I really hope everyone can open there mind to a book like this. If your trying to understand life, this may help. Also remember she explains clearly, take what you like and leave the rest. Some people's minds seem so clouded in negativity that it may not be possible for people to really enjoy.... Hopefully people can be open about her idea of the afterlife and to be honest look at the point she makes about religion. I think it's a positive way to really appreciate everyone and everyone's beliefs. Enjoy!!
I think this was my favorite out of the 3 that I've read by Sylvia Browne.
It touched on some details already mentioned in the previous book, but also went into great detail about life on the other side. If the very idea of the Scanning Machine isn't enough to make a person re-think their possible actions, I don't know what would!
Enjoying all things mystical, spiritual, metaphysical, etc. I could relate to this book very much.
I have always enjoyed reading Sylvia Browne books. To be honest, I only read this one because I'm looking to find something within those pages; so, that means I mainly skimmed this book looking for what I'm trying to look for. That doesn't mean that the parts I read of this book were boring or in any possible way uninteresting, it's just that for what I needed this book for, it didn't pertain to me. I'm sure I'll pick this up again and reread and actually ingest what I've read in the future, but not right this very moment.
This is very different reading, if you were raised Baptist. But it is beautiful! I found this book fascinating, and while I can't say if any of it is true, it definitely makes you think. The idea that we choose our challenges in life, that we focus on certain themes, that we place obstacles in our own paths to grow, is something that makes a lot of sense to me. I will be reading a lot more from Sylvia Brown.
Well…either Sylvia Browne is the real thing or she has the most vivid imagination. I believe she could sell ice cubes to an Eskimo!
The story intrigued me as we all want to know what awaits us after death. The first half was an easy read but then it got very complicated in all the layers and details described here. I picked this book up while I was in a vulnerable state of mind. My curiosity about what she has to say won out. I’m not sure I’ll read any more of her many books. Let me digest what she had to say first.
