This was one of the best books I have ever read. I liked it because it had a lot of information about the church and the knights of templar so I learned a lot about those things. It was cool because even though it was sort of a treasure hunt book, it wasn't cheesy, like other treasure hunt books. It was a real page turner and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Angels and Demons.

9.2/10 I thoroughly enjoyed this novel, much more than I expected in all honesty. A riveting story that employs crafty literary style to keep you enveloped as if you were present in the adventure. I enjoyed all the fascinating theories and history of Art and Religion that the story discusses. I think there is a lot of truth in the conspiracies involved but I’ll leave that subjective opinion to myself and let anyone who reads the book decide for themselves.

Great tension build up. Very informative about semiotics etc. Though a tad confusing at times

I had not read a book for decades. I had a friend who told me I needed to read this book. I had heard so much hype about it and usually that turns me off. My friend gave me her copy and told me to just read 2 chapters and then if I didn't like it, to stop. Needless to say, I read the ENTIRE book that night without sleeping! THIS sparked my love for reading again and I never stopped! That was in the years 2006 and I've never looked back! Thank Josh McDowell!
