ok sorry sorry but I just couldn’t really buy into this form of writing/storytelling. It was literally only info/theory dumping the entire time with the smallest amount of character development possible. I can admit I learned a lot and thought the topic was interesting, but there were way too many off shoots and random 5 page thought blurbs that I could have done without. Also…there is NO WAY anyone could solve that many complex symbols and riddles and problems, etc. while not sleeping for 48 hours and on the run from the police. Also also the ending of so many of the characters’ stories felt too neatly wrapped up and not justified. Ok I’m done! 1/40

When I started to read this book I couldn't put it down. I didn't even sleep. I devoured this book and remember the major controversy from it. Mr. Dan Brown took the conspiracy theories and turned it into an awesome thriller. There was too much action going on. Robert Langdon is a genius.

Hubo claves como lo de la letra en espejo que no me encantaron, pero en general es una muy buena historia de misterio que juega con la tensión y la acción como ningún otro. A pesar de ser bastante largo no se sintió nada pesado. Siento que si no hubiera visto la película, me hubiera impactado más el final, pero aún así lo disfruté.

Together they attempt to reveal buried secrets and codes after the owner of the Louvre is found dead. The Da Vinci Code was both entertaining and philosophically stimulating. Brown’s writing style and short chapters encourage a rapid pace, keeping the reader engaged. However, the reader might find some arguments to be less persuasive. While provoking, the author's theories are only supported by cherry-picked interpretations of historical events and symbols, and they are displayed in a way that makes them appear more historically accurate than they truly are. Despite this I would still highly recommend The Da Vinci Code to anyone who enjoys fast-paced mysteries and thrillers that blend with history, religion, and conspiracy. Though not all readers may agree with Brown’s theories, it is undeniable that the book is engrossing and provokes intriguing questions regarding how history is remembered and who ultimately decides what truths are preserved. Regardless of one’s agreement with the book’s concepts, it is undeniably an engaging 4-star read that leaves a memorable impression.

Maybe it was all the hype but this book went "thud." Sorry to any fans! Just my take on it.

A good read and promising at moments, but some parts were just too contrived and set, wasn't very convincingly natural as a progression of events.

The narration of this book was very interesting. Good thriller.
