Hilarious!

This is a really good book and very funny. I haven't laughed so much in a while. Great change of pace. Somewhat predictable but had a good ending. A feel good book.

Not as great as the first one, but still made me laugh out loud. Debbie Sue and Edwina have a new partner in crime, Paige, who was cut off by daddy and forced to live on her own.

Romance, humor, and mystery.

Comparisons to Fannie Flagg do not hold up. This one is really a romance with a little Texas/country flavor. Nothing objectionable, but not really funny, quirky or out of the ordinary either.

Cute book. The characters are likeable and many parts were funny. My main problem with it was although it had tons of conflict, it was all resolved far too easily. Everything seemed a little too convenient. It's a good light, summer book. Nothing too great, but worth spending an afternoon reading.

This is my favorite of the Dixie Cash books. It was a unique story and a hoot to read.

This was a fun, slightly raunchy, spunky diversion. It was a little predictable and I thought I had the plot figured out but there were a couple of surprises. The characters were fun and likeable. I plan to read more of the series. A fun day-at-the-beach read.

I'm so glad I read this second in the series! This one moved along nicely, introducing new and interesting characters. Okay....ready to get #3!

I’m glad I gave this series another shot. I read the first book for five years ago maybe and I wasn’t impressed… I don’t remember what didn’t impress me exactly but I looked back at the review and I had written “maybe I’m just not in the mood“ and since the storyline looked good, I wanted to give it a go. I’m glad I did because it was both interesting and hilarious! It’s dark out a little bit slow, but I really enjoyed the characters as they developed. I’m going to continue with the series for sure.

I read the 1st book to this series and thought it was cute so I decided to check out the 2nd one. At first I was a little worried it wasn't going to be that good because the book starts with different characters and I really fell for the characters in the fist book. But, it all comes together and the two new main characters the authors bring in are hilarious! This book had me laughing out loud a lot. I just loved some of the lines Paige said.

I became best friends with Debbie Sue Overstreet and Edwina Perkins. I wish I lived in their town. I enjoyed the humor, the friendship, and the romance.
