David Bach's approach to finance management is both sensible and sage. I enjoyed reading this book and appreciated that he put in stories to make it go easier. So many self-help books can be dry and un-entertaining, but this was wasn't. I would highly recommend this to any couples seeking help getting finances, insurance, etc in order. I would imagine Bach's other books are also good--a friend of mine attended one of his "Smart Women Finish Rich" seminars and really enjoyed it.

The audio version (abridged, of course) isn't as good as the paper copy, but if you don't really like reading it will help get you through the paper copy. I thought the Smart Women book was more thorough, but this is still worth reading, especially if money is a tough topic for the one you love.

A great book for newlyweds and any couple looking to streamline their financial future. Corny title, but accurate. This book also filled in any gaps I had about finance and savings.

Easy to understand for a non-financial person.
