When one of my good friends reaches the age of 70, I love to give her a copy of this book. Chris will be turning 70 in December, 2023, so I just had the opportunity to read the book again before I mail it to her. It’s a terrific book!!

Loved the poem about become thermostatically incompatible....could really relate to that. Humorous and hits the highlights as have her other books

Realized that all these collections of hers both make me laugh and put me in a melancholic sort of state. I must really like that because I keep reading them.

She does have a way with words.

I needed this book right now-at this very second. As I leave my beach house to go look for the “ rest of my life “ home. As I wonder about the grandkids and worry about my children, she has captured my life. I’ve just read 5 books about decluttering- what a better mood I’m in now.

This is the first poetry I've read since college. I did it as part of a challenge and I'm so glad I did. These poems were delightful. I believe I will be picking up more of her work.

I feel the same way as this title! 70? I'm really 70? This small book of poems made me giggle, and appreciate life at 70!

Definitely light fare but a number of the poems made be laugh and many were certainly on point about facing my 70s.

A delightful book for anyone approaching or in this age! The poems ring true!
