AmblesideOnline years 10&11 book. Read aloud to my sophomore/junior (who hated it and said she understood nothing). I would say the rating is based more on my lack of knowledge than on the value of the book itself. I feel like I understood what he was saying at least half of the time, and having read Hawkings’ Briefer History of Time helped me a lot, but I definitely didn’t understand a lot of it too. Overall it was interesting… I think some of my other children might like it.

Life changing: 5/5

First half goes slowly, building the bases, you already know most of it but never in his terms, never so funny and eloquent. This may be boring if you came for new knowledge but be patient it will come.

Second half is a little bit deeper and will be fun if you are into more detailed physics boring if you came for the entertaining of Feynman way of speaking.

Kids should read this book at 12yo or something.

Everybody should be exposed to the way Feynman defines science and not-science.

Go read this one and when you do let’s have a beer and talk about electrons
