This is The definitive book on physics. I read it four or five decades ago and passed it along to my kids. Feynman's Lectures is the standard by which all others are compared. However a warning is needed. Forget about trying to actually solve a problem.

Feynman makes it sound so easy. So simple. It isn't!

Experiment_Spam sorry

I've wanted to deepen my knowledge of physics for a long time, and I’ve decided to do it through these lectures. Since I’ll be studying on my own, I’ll share my progress here—not only to keep myself accountable but also to help future readers who might want to learn physics as well.

My plan is to go through 5-6 topics each week, rating each one from 1 to 10 and adding a short comment. This way, if someone decides to follow the same path, they can use my review as a guide.

A key note: I have slightly above-average math knowledge and remember some physics from school. In each chapter, I’ll mention the required math level and whether I encountered any difficulties. I can already assume that at least some basic understanding of advanced mathematics will be necessary.

The Feynman Lectures are the best thing I have ever read in physics! I found out about these lectures from the fanfic Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality (this book is an excellent advertisement of lectures). Physics has never been so interesting for me! Moreover, it is possible to learn something new from mathematics, to look at the known things in a new way. In general, complicated things are told very simply and fascinatingly, but there is also a difficult to understand material that needs to be disassembled and understood more thoroughly. This series of lectures would be interesting to all who are interested in science.

Как же это прекрасно, когда тот, кто всей душой в занятии, которому посвятил всю свою жизнь, ещё и умеет об этом рассказать так, чтобы было понятно каждому.
Полному конспекту лекций точно быть в библиотеке!

If physics had a rockstar, it would be Feynman. And if there were ever a physics book that someone with dyscalculia could actually enjoy, it’s this one. Sure, the math is there, lurking in the background like a party I wasn’t invited to, but Feynman’s explanations are so vivid, so effortlessly clear, that I almost forget I can’t do basic arithmetic.

He doesn’t just teach physics—he makes you feel it. From quantum weirdness to the beauty of electromagnetism, every page feels like a mind-expanding conversation with the coolest professor you never had. I may never solve an equation, but thanks to Feynman, I finally understand the universe (or at least, I think I do).

One of the best books on Physics ever written. The concepts are rigorously explained, very entertaining to read, and give many insights about the subject. You can say it is the Bible of Physics!

I got out of it what I could grasp. Sadly - I gave it up, however, when I found, that, the math, and ideas, ceased to be intuitive for me. (NOT, the fault of the author!)

Useless for a physics class, tops the list of books to read "just for fun", if you are a dork that is.
