In my opinion, the Feynman Lectures on Physics is a must-have for physics majors who really want to learn about physics. The books are quite large, with some editions having three volumes. Unfortunately, they do not include a problem set to check your understanding of the material. However, recently other textbooks have been created that include problem sets that can be used in conjunction with the Feynman Lectures. Feynman's passion for physics is evident in his textbooks, and the material covers almost every topic for first-year undergraduate students. The books can also be used as a reference. I plan to read them cover to cover. The mechanics topics are crystal clear and start with the basics, such as vectors and their properties, equations of motion, and Newton's laws of motion. etc.
