The biography, "Anne Frank: Life in Hiding" written by Johanna Hurwitz and illustrated by Vera Rosenberry, helped me as a reader because it was inspiring above all else. It gave me insight into important dates that I had previously forgotten, and reminded me to remain positive, even on the bad days. It could always be worse, and I should always remember to count my blessings.

The book will help me as a future teacher because it is very interesting, especially to be a biography, which many students do not always pick as their first book choice. It is a shorter chapter book, which makes it an easier choice for students who don't particularly care for true stories. It is also a twist on Anne Frank's famous diary. I could easily use this book as part of a history lesson within my literature lesson, as well as, have students create a time line with the important dates listed on pages 41-51. This would be a fun, and engaging way to integrate different subjects into reading curriculum in my classroom. It will also remind students of historical events that should never be forgotten. It was a great book! I wonder what her diary is like? Also she reminds me of Anne of green gables, a chatterbox, loves to write, they are like twins!

C'est une bonne initiation à l'immersion de la guerre 39-45. J'aurais voulu un peu plus de documentation cependant je prendrai sûrement le temps un jour de lire le vrai journal d'Anne Frank.
