It's a funny book about not taking life so seriously! It's about living everyday to the fullest and not waiting for special occasions to use the nice dishes, clothes, etc...
This book has a few good points, such as "80% of success in life is showing up". But otherwise, I find it tedious and the attempts at humor are super cheesy. The book is meant to be about living a positive & low-stress life, but it endlessly lists the stresses rather than focusing on the positive suggestions.
I have a definite tendency to save everything for enjoyment in the future. I know this is silly, but still manage to have trouble breaking the habit. I'm enjoying Ms LaRoche's anecdotes (well, some of them - some of them are just glimpses into lives that I'm glad aren't mine or anyone I know) and am hoping that somewhere in here will be part of the kickstart I need to stop putting off eating the special holiday candy until it's no longer good and start just enjoying it right now.
