The best way I can describe this book is Dan Brown meets National Treasure. It was an exciting page-turner with several twists that I didn’t see coming. It had a lot of adventure, deception, and greed, with a touch of lust and sorrow. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good treasure hunt!

Never knew about the Amber Room before so this was fascinating! Can do without all those sexual exploits etc though.

This was Berry's first book. The topic was very good and I enjoyed the book, but thought it was a little drawn out. You could see where the plot was going and the expected results early in the book. Spme of the characters were a little stiff, but overall, they stayed true to form. I entend to read all of his books.
