This was a great book that combines the lessons from the How to Win Friends and Start Influencing People & the How To Stop Worrying & Start Living book. The book really makes you think about how best to deal with people when you want certain outcomes. Always trying to look at things from that person's perspectives and ensuring they get what they want is key as why would someone be motivated for your own objectives vs. their own. Also, never criticizing people is a great one as even if you get people to respond the way you want short term, they will never respect you long term and will always talk behind your back etc. Admitting your own faults is also key as if you can admit your own faults you just are not able to be wrong ever. Another great one is never giving orders as if you can show someone why they should want to do something for their own benefit then they will be much more motivated to do whatever that thing is that you are asking of them. Overall, a great book that I would highly recommend to anyone along with the other Dale Carnegie books.

I haven’t read any of the Dale Carnegie titles. However, I can say without doubt that the book was salvaged from his famous titles. The biggest proof is the mentioning of American singer “Stevie Wonder” in Chapter 9. Mr. Dale Carnegie had passed away in 1955 and Mr. Stevie Wonder was born in 1950. As such there is no way Mr. Carnegie could have predicted the future stardom of Mr. Stevie Wonder or his school days. Nevertheless, you can use this book as an introduction to Mr. Carnegie’s famous works.

This book is a mixture of two bestsellers of Dale Carnegie ! “How to win friends and influence people” & “How to stop worrying and start living”
I have read these two books before, so this book serves as reminiscence to those books. It’s worth reading if you haven’t read those two books.
