This book contains content blended from two Dale Carnegie books: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" and "How to Stop Worrying and Enjoy Life." I'd already read "How to Win Friends" less than a year ago, so the content was relatively fresh in my mind and it seemed like the majority of this book contains content from that volume. I really enjoy the pieces that were from "How to Stop Worrying" and I'll need to add that book to my list, because I would have liked to have more of it within this book. It was an excellent book to help kick off the new year!

"Think and Thank", it's just one of the didactic take-aways from this pool of experiences which author, Dale Carnegie have successfully written. This was not the first book of genre "self help" that I have read but after reading this book it changed the way I had been looking towards this genre. This book has surely set a precedent for the rest of the authors to come. Done with the praise!!
This book is a kind of anthology comprised of life changing experiences of the students learning under the author. The students mentioned in this book are no ordinary persons but one of various senior VPs, CEOs of MNCs, politicians, actors, salespersons, and number of legendary personalities we've heard of.
Book introduce us to a myriad of disarrayed circumstances, insoluble (as we think) dilemmas and also indignation at work which helps us gauge, analyze the situation in our way and to which a feasible, plausible solution and a mindset to carry is inculcated within us. Not just in corporate life but this book proves it's lessons viable in our personal life also as it throws light over ; the way a real life conversations flow and how actually it should flow, how praise, approbation could make miracles come true ; affecting your relationships with others in our home as well as society. Dealing with different personalities of their individual traits and mindset is also a vital lesson to be learn from this book. Author used examples where he proved how staunch beliefs and lack of appreciation could take their toll on us.
At the end of each lesson lies the quotes summarizing the whole lesson and tweaking our mindset to an extent that we start contemplating about our actions and try to improve them. I have read this book thrice!! It helped me ALOT during my tenure as Business Development Executive at a firm. I am whole heartedly recommending this mindset-tweaking, exemplary book for you, your job and also for your relationship to get better.

Genial y totalmente digerible.Dale escribe como pocos y enseña como nadie.Un poco decepcionante que el contenido sean historias de sus 2 libros anteriores (pense que era un libro que no se publicó en su momento).

I'll give 4 stars because few of the things in this novel gets repeated with other novels authored by Dale like How to win friends and influence people, The leader in you, etc.

Coming to the content of the book, it's very palatable and easy to read and understand. This is like a practical handbook! Most of the incidents mentioned are the real one and helped Dale in his personal life.

After reading this book your life and job won't be changed from monotonous, boring movie into thrilling, entertaining masala movie...but this novel will definitely help you to change your perspective and teach you few life-saving hacks to enjoy your life and job!

Dale Carnegie is a genius in my opinion. His books are so foundational and based on human nature. Even though these books were published between 50 and 70 years ago they are still insightful and useful today. This one had good practical advice on how to make your job more enjoyable, regardless of what you do, but especially for the office worker. Excellent short read

After reading a few of Dale Carnegie’s books, I can say for sure that he was great at understanding human nature. Even so many years later, his advice for interacting with others is timeless and classic.

What he says is common sense, but sometimes we fail to apply these things to our lives. For example, Carnegie says that “Tomorrow you may want to persuade somebody to do something. Before you speak, pause and ask yourself: "How can I make this person want to do it?" That question will stop us from rushing into a situation heedlessly, with futile chatter about our desires.”

As with all DC books, the wisdom is gold. In this one, there seemed to be several redundancies with other works of his that I’ve read, but still content was on point and worth taking the time to be reminded.

Well the fact is if you have read 'How to win friends and influence people' and 'How to stop worrying and start living'; both by Dale Carnegie you can skip readig this one.
The title was a bait that got me into this but most of the book was the repitition of the books I mentioned earler.
Nevertheless, it served as a reread of some important points I read earlier.

Dale Carnegie wrote several books. He did not write this one, but the publishers took excerpts from his other books to produce this one. I bought the book at half of the original price.

There is a quality to Carnegie's writing that makes him sound like a 1930s radio announcer. The book offers advice that has become ubiquitous in our daily lives. Be yourself, stay organized, learn to delegate, and don't put off decisions.

Carnegie used testimonials from people he knew and received letters from. The book is short. At the end of the book is a summary of all the advice.

I enjoyed the book. Thanks for reading my review, and see you next time.
