Me gusta mucho Ruiz Zafón, no es el mejor de sus mejor libro, pero merece la pena leerlo.

Podziwiam pomysł na historię, chociaż tom I z tej trylogii podobał mi się bardziej.

Priča je, poput one u Princu magle, pomalo predviva i jasno napisana pre svega za mlađu populaciju. Međutim Safonovo bogatstvo stila me je ponovo oduševilo. Lakoća kojom dočarava mučne epizode aktera i sumornu atmosferu Kalkute istovremeno u vama izaziva i osećaj nelagodnosti i nestrpljivost da pročitate šta će sledeće da se dogodi. Iako je radnja potpuno nezavisna od Princa magle, kostur priče je veoma sličan. Prošlost roditelja proganja decu, koja se udružuju u pokušaju da izbegnu neizbežno uz pomalo neodlučnu, ali na kraju ipak iskrernu pomoć nekog ko je bio svedok cele njihove storije. Uprkos knjigama sa mnogo kompleksnijom i/ili strašnijom pričom Safonu, osim naravno zbog stila, dajem peticu, jer u moru popularnih YA romana njegovi likovi su prava, iskrena i naivna dečica, ne razbacuju se slengom, ljubavnim dramama niti sudbina sveta zavisi od njih. Na njima je samo da se izbore za svoje mesto u budućnosti.

La pluma de Zafón me atrapó, y a lo largo de las páginas fui cogiendo cada vez más cariño a esos ocho adolescentes tan especiales que completan esta historia juvenil. Hay amistad, familia, fantasía, miedo... un poquito de todo.

Y no entiendo por qué tantas malas críticas. Sí que es cierto que hay cosas no explicadas, pero es algo que a mí no me molesta cuando ocurre en libros de fantasía.

Recuerdo haber leído Marina en mis años de instituto y, aunque lo tengo muy olvidado, El palacio de la medianoche me transmitió sensaciones que viví durante aquella lectura. Vamos a ver si con los otros 2 libros de esta trilogía ocurre lo mismo

به نظر من جالب بود. درسته که یه جاهایی‌ش کمی ایراد منطقی داشت، اما در کل خیلی باحال بود. یعنی مثلا اگر آریامی اون‌همه مسخره‌بازی درنیاورده بود و نویسنده این‌قدر تلاش نکرده بود هی داستاناش رو ماست‌مالی کنه و هی بگه نه داستان قبلی الکی بود و حالا این جدیده درسته و از این حرفا، و یه جاهایی‌ش کم‌تر کش‌دار بود شاید چهار رو بهش می‌دادم.
شخصیت‌پردازی شخصیت منفی‌ش رو خیلی پسندیدم. ماجراهاش هم خوب بود، فضاسازی‌ش هم.
در کل خوشمان آمد واقعا.
حالا من چیزی از کلکته دهه ۳۰ میلادی نمی‌دونم که بخوام بگم واقعا این‌طوری بوده یا نه، اما هرچی بود خوب بود.
یه فضای فری‌تیل‌گونه و حالت داستانای پریان هم داشت که برای شخص من جالب بود. چرا مردم نمی‌تونن از چیز ساده‌ای مثل اسمای‌ برعکس، یا دوقلوها و گردنبندهای دوتکه شده لذت ببرن؟ من خوشم میاد. :/

Przyjemnie napisana, choć spodziewałam się kontynuacji pierwszej części. Zobaczymy co skrywa część trzecia...

A sido una lectura maravillosa, me encanta la ciudad en la que esta ambientado, la idea de un lugar lleno de misterios y desgracias, los personajes no los he llegado a conocer demasiado, pero eso les a dado un buen toque de misterio y no a evitado que les coja cariño, un libro bastante perturbador y muy entretenido, el autor tiene un talento incalculable y me a encantado el diálogo y las comparaciones que hace.
He tardado mucho en terminarlo porqué el autor utiliza un lenguaje que a mi corta edad es difícil de entender, pero a válido muchísimo la pena.

Este libro me presenta sentimientos encontrados. Por una parte la historia me ha gustado mucho más que la del príncipe de la niebla o luces del norte, pero por otra parte, el ritmo ha sido un poco lento. Los personajes también me han caído bien inmediatamente, será porque tengo debilidad por pandillas estilo goonies en el que cada cual está especializado en un área distinta y todos se ayudan entre ellos.

La historia transcurre en Calcuta, lo que le da un toque exótico (aparte de mezclar con mitología India el mal que se desencadena) que no tenían las anteriores historias de la trilogía de la niebla. Los personajes me parecen poco desarrollados, pero en un libro tan corto, no se le pueden pedir peras al olmo. Una de las cosas que más me han gustado es el tempo de la acción, como corta la escena de un personaje separado en distancia a otro, para que no te avance nada a mayores y te deje con la cosilla de qué le pasará a continuación al siguiente. He tenido una pequeña sorpresilla al final, lo cual siempre es de agradecer.

As in all books by Zafon, I loved this one. It had its little quirky um-where'd-that-come-from? moments, but I loved it nonetheless.

Note: I am not sure if this is a spoiler, though I don't think it really is, but I'm giving you a fair warning anyway, as it has a lot to do with the foundation of the story.
The first part of this book was a bit shaky, I will have to admit. How many times have we heard of the story of a newborn child (or children, or baby/ies) whose parents were murdered in cold blood by an evil person/being, but which child, by some fortunate twist of fate, is rescued by a benevolent character (who may or may not end up dying anyway), and who leaves such child somewhere (at the doorstep of another benevolent character, maybe?) where the child grows up, shielded from the past and clueless that, upon reaching a certain age, he/she and the evil murderer of his/her parents will resurface? I'm thinking Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book and, of course, the most obvious example, J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter. Almost always, a token - something - will be left in the possession of such child that will help in the discovery of his past. Well. Go figure.

The little "showdown" and "game" towards the end, too, was a bit tacky. If you've been dealing with an apparently invincible enemy, with demonic powers and super-strengths, the "game" would not be something that you'd expect.

Notwithstanding the somewhat predictable foundation of the plot and the tacky little parts scattered in the storyline, I enjoyed this book immensely. I've read all of Zafon's previous works, and always, the part which I look forward to - the best thing about his novels, for me - is the suspense. The mystery. The eerie atmosphere that prevails throughout the story. The creepiness of the narrative that makes the hair at the back of my neck stand up on end. Yes, I'm a scaredy-cat, but still.

Qué es ese final. Tengo un nudo en la garganta

Esta segunda lectura del libro me ha gustado muchísimo más que la primera vez que lo leí, tal vez fue una mejor receptividad a historias juveniles e infantiles. A pesar de haberme leído el libro hace algún tiempo no recordaba absolutamente nada, así que prácticamente fue como leerme el libro por primera vez.
Lo primero que tiene que saber el lector antes de iniciar la lectura es que esta novela no tiene nada que ver con el "Príncipe de la niebla", a pesar de ser pertenecer ambas a la misma trilogía, al menos estos dos primeros libros lo único que guardan en común es que son novelas protagonizadas por jóvenes y hay un ser sobrenatural y maligno que quiere apoderarse de uno de ellos.
Iré directo hacia la tercera novela de esta trilogía.
