My sister wanted me to read it and I kinda liked it. Some legitimate good info in here but really just everything common sense that you don't want to tell yourself. Another version of He's Just Not That Into You, but more like He's Just Not Right For You...

I had to read this book for my Human Relations class and found that it was very helpful. While some things I already knew, the things I didn't made me want to be a better girlfriend. For the people that already have the love of their life, there are still things you can learn from this. It really is a good read and I found it to start some good conversations between my boyfriend and I.

This is an interesting book with some interesting concepts. However I found much in the first chapter alone that I simply do not agree with. So, if you are just looking for an interesting book and some things to think about I suppose this is worth the read. I could have taken a few tips from it years ago.

I had no intentions of actually reading this book when I found it in a stack of gifted books. I planned to thumb through it for a good eyeroll. I was quite surprised to find that it is incredibly practical and provides a lot of logic in dating/considering a partner. Better than many other marriage/dating books with a faith-based vein that seem to have no concrete considerations beyond “dying to yourself” and “serving the Kingdom together.” This book challenges you to think about aspects of character and family and daily life with someone else in practical, insightful ways.

Solid book written several years before Dr. Neil Clark Warren founded eharmony.
Learned more about:
1. Developing one's own self-concept.
2. That the survival of a relationship is heavily dependent on the maturity individual/couple address conflict.

Hey, I read this for my Marriage Prep class, and I have to admit that it was pretty darn good. Sound advice for anyone looking for the love of their life (and who isn't?).

Not quite as practical, straightforward, or concise as “Date … or Soul Mate?”, but still filled to the brim with wisdom for dating. Not sure why some of this content is not included in that later book.
