well she has a pretty laconic style bout her writing.. i was never a dragonball Z sort of person but after reading this book i decided to give the series a shot and guess what ifound TRUE LOVE IN VEGETA (kidding!) basically the first half of the book is what will be of some interest of an average person as it goes on to explain the storyline, history and the plot/characters in general... but when the stuff bout vide games and acttion figurs crop up in the second half, one drops the whole reading thing (an average non fanatic of DBZ)

but on whole its a fun read

Mother and son take on a beloved cartoon from the early 2000's with a feverish passion to talk all things Dragon Ball Z. From the TV show to action figures to role playing, Lois and Danny talk about what they enjoyed of this series and some of their favorite activities to do together. There is a charm knowing that Lois cares strongly to be involved in her son's life through his interest - even if it was a financial attempt for this book. It is not clear exactly what Danny's input for the book was as Lois makes it quite clear that she is writing.

From an adult's POV, this book was quite messy and heavily opinionated. However, it was reminiscent of the early 2000 Internet days with the language and tone - it is also meant to be written for children. Despite knowing this, I hated the way this book was presented, but I am aware that I would have enjoyed this as a child - hence, the two stars.
