I don't often read all the stories in an anthology, but in this one all of the stories were good. They were fun, hot stories full of wild sex, each one around 50 pages so the storyline happened very fast.

Now, I like a short story as much as anyone but these were far too short to get into really.

didn't like this one as much as other breeds stories -it was extremely short, even for an anthology and Wolfe was pretty much a dick for most it. Big fan of breed stories but could have past this one up, and I hate saying that...

Wolfe's Hope by Lora Leigh

This isn't exactly a novella that I wanted to read, but that I'm glad that I did read.  I'm quite honestly getting tired of all the Feline Breed novels.  I see more of them than anything else at this point and it’s not a good thing.  This novella brought the Wolf Breeds to light and for this I'm very thankful for.  Hopefully there's going to be more novels based on this species, because at this point in time I'm starting to get pretty bored with Lora Leigh's novels.  She's already not the best writer, but I do feel like she's getting better.  And regardless of that fact I do want to see how she improves.  One of the Wolf Breed characters that she introduces is Wolfe, the Alpha of the Wolf Breeds.  Wolfe is a hard-headed man that is used to getting what he wants.  Whether it's by his own sheer willpower or by force doesn't matter to him.  He's very focused on righting all the wrongs that happened to them in the labs and right now he's focused on a specific Doctor.  One that brought him and his pack nothing but pain and misery.  But to do this he needs the one person that he could never forget.  A woman who was only a girl back when he knew her.  The Doctor's own daughter, Hope.  Hope has known about the Breeds for most of her life.  Her own mother was one of the scientists that took great pleasure in torturing them.  She was forced to watch her mother do these horrible things and couldn't react to any of it.  Now that she's older she's broken away from her mother and refuses to even talk about her.  However, this doesn't stop Wolfe at all.  He continues to kidnap her and use her as the perfect bait.  Of course he also has an ulterior motive of his own as well.  The attraction between them has only grown over the years and Wolfe wants to see how far it could go.  Which could either be a good thing or a very bad thing.  This novella is an interesting take on a romance novel.  I'm actually quite glad that it was a novella instead of a full novel.  It had a good plot to it and since it was over with quickly it made the plot that much better.  The romance in this novella wasn't like a slap to the face like I usually is, it was more subtle than that.  I think this is what actually made the novella so excellent in my opinion.  It was lead into it instead of doing a straight head dive into it.  It is perhaps one of the best well written novellas that Lora Leigh has done so far, and for this I'm thankful.  Mostly because I was starting to get bored with her novels.  Perhaps she's improving quicker than I originally thought.  I would say that you should read this novella before moving on, because it does give you some good information.

I have read all of this series to date and only found a couple less than excellent. Very, hot sex!

I got this book for Lora Leigh's Breed story "Wolfe's Hope". I thought it was really good for a 40 page short story.

"Lunewulf: Pack Law" by Lorie O'Clare wasn't too bad either.

1. Sherri L. King's story was so stupid. Sorry. Girl halls down a mountain in Russia, falls for a guy in a cabin who helps her, has lots of sex. Mated, the end. OOOOOkkkk! No spoilers, don't tell me you didn't see that coming. Names aren't even important. Corny sex stuff. 40 pgs

2. Lori O'Clare - GOOD GOD! I laughed my a** off. All it is is a short story of a werewolf girl who has to be mated to 3 men, because her grandma said. I wish my grandma was that cool! LOL! anyway, her main dude decides she has to mate with them all at the same time and he controls it all. Oooookkkk! I am so glad I read one of her real books, because I would never read one if I read this first. Just a flat 4-some story of sex in all orifaces at once! Wooo hoo! LOL!! 40 pgs

3. Jaci Burton - could have been halfway decent, but it seemed like she sat on her laptop and wrote a quickie sex story with a little real story in there too. Senator mistakes a reporter for the hooker who was meeting him at his hotel room. She has sex with him, and he decides right away they are mates. Full of sex. Whatever. 50 pgs

4. Lora leigh - THANK GOD I read all her other stories first. This was a 40 page story about how wolfe & Hope got together. Way too short, and He was an ass. She craved his sex, and they are Oh so in love. 40 pgs.

None of these stories are worth a flip, so don't pay for this book. Borrow it or something. You can even skip it. I bought it. WAS I stupid! Sooo I guess, I will now sell it! HAHA!

Great part of the book, was that I finished it in 2.5 hours! And all people involved in all the stories had such great sex, they are mated for life! Love it!

This was not a great book.
Four stories in one book and the first two were really bad.

Moon Lust was about an overweight unattractive woman who gets rescued/kidnapped by a Psychopath wolf with a thick Russian accent. It makes it seem that she stays with him because she can't do any worse.

Pack Law was immature in both dialoge and plot.

Running Mate I didn't mind, it was so much better than the first two. But the whole turning into a dog thing and having "pups" doesn't do much for me.

The forth is the reason I bought the book in the first place. I am a big Lora Leigh fan and was only disappointed that the story wasn't longer. I'll have to get the full version.
