A very intriguing story of love, heartache and resolution.

The author has written a truly remarkable story of the hard work and life on a large horse ranch. The ups and downs of ranch life and dealing with family makes for very enjoyable reading.

A little silly. I just skimmed the book. Dead people talking, over the top talk of Metaxas & wife. Didn't work for me.

The last half almost makes up for the first half. Be sure to read the first book in the series before this one. I didn't.

I loved every book in this series, I laughed, cried and thought "what the heck" through each of them. I was sorry to see the series end, especially as it did. MANY tears in the last book of the series. Even now as I think about it. GREAT books!!

Is this part of a series? DNF @ 10%. Can’t follow the story. It’s like every third paragraph is missing.

The second book in the trilogy is well written and fast paced. Nealy's heart is shattered when Nick and Emmie leave the farm. Nick becomes a lawyer and Emmie raises her daughter after her husband leaves her. Nealy fall in love with Hatch, who was one of her husband's best friends. Even if you are not a huge horse fan, you will enjoy the characters and their lives.
