just finished reading "Anne of the Island" and it is so far the best book in the series ✨ I cannot wait until next year so that I can get the rest of the books (am currently on a book buying ban..) I love Anne so dearly and seeing her grow up, meet new kindred souls and find what love truly means makes me so happy

یه روز آفتابی که هوا نه خیلی سرده نه خیلی گرم، ابر‌های پنبه‌ای تو آسمون آبی دلبری می‌کنن، صدای آواز پرنده‌ها و زمزمه‌ی آب جاری رودخونه به گوش می‌رسه، سایه روشن رنگ سبز درخت‌ها و گیاهان اطراف به چشم‌ها آرامش هدیه می‌ده، نسیم خوش‌بوی خنک بهاری با موهایی که باز گذاشتم بازی می کنه، و من با یه پیراهن نخی سفید رنگ رها، روی چمن‌های تازه و نرم، کنار گل‌های تازه شکفته‌ شده‌ی بهاری نشستم و کتاب می‌خونم :)
حسی که خوندن کتاب‌های آنی شرلی به من می���ده همچین چیزیه :)
من نمی‌دونم مونتگومری چه تخصصی داره در به تصویر کشیدن بعضی از رویاها و آرزوهای من...! نمی‌دونم چجوریه که همیشه شخصیت‌های کتاباش بعضی از رویاهای منو زندگی می‌کنن :) امیدوارم که منم مثل شخصیتاش به تمام رویاهام برسم... امیدوارم...

2024:

And think of all the great people in the world today! Isn't it worthwhile to think we can share their inspiration? And then, all the great souls that will come in the future?'"n

I always get close to the end and can't savor it any more, I have to read the last few chapters all in one sitting.

This was the reread where I really took this everywhere. The dining hall was the most frequent place but I also took it to a hockey game, bowling, and outside during the fire alarm. Because of it's high presence in my life I got asked about this book more than any other time. And I found several kindred spirits who knew this book, and even one who was inspired to reread it herself and told me so!

Anne always cheers on the darkest days, and I aim to be like Phil in my last haul.


2023:

n  '"Yes, I'm sorry, and a little dissatisfied as well. Miss Stacy told me long ago that by the time I was twenty my character would be formed, for good or evil. I don't feel that it's what it should be. It's full of flaws."

Your Miss Stacy likely meant that when you are twenty your character would have got its permanent bent in one direction or 'tother, and would go on developing in that line. Don't worry over it, Anne. Do your duty by God and your neighbor and yourself, and have a good time. That's my philosophy and it's always worked pretty well."'n

Fourth time through and I've started to memorize parts of the writing itself. But not all of it, as it grasps you by the hand and leads you down some adventure every time you pick the book up. It's dainty and deep at the same time.

Miss Anne Shirley helps me figure out my own feelings and emotions more than anyone else, because they're the exact same. Helped me during finals once again, so I'll see her next year, same time.



2022:
This book will always be one of my all time favorites. How can it not be? It's about growth and hope. L.M.M's writing alone deserves 100 stars, and additionally the story means everything to me. It might become an annual read. I want to continuously bask in its glow!
